This has got to be one of my top things to do in Hakone. I stayed the night in Gora after a huge day travelling and exploring from shinjuku. Trains, buses, cable car trams pirate ship. I was glad I organised a night in Gora. I arrived as soon as it opened. There was a bit of a line up. Not many. Easy to get to. It was cloudy day so it was quite cool. It has the potential of being super hot. There are plenty of places to sit. Not really a place to have a family picnic but you could definitely take food there and sit on one of the seats and eat. Some of the sculptures move and there are little secret spots to into. So take the time to enjoy this beautiful place. Galleries. Play areas for kids. There's are really cool rope area for kids. I chose not to go in.. being childless and all but from what I could see and hear they were having a blast. There's a cafe and a restaurant on site. The buffet was 2200 yen which is reasonable especially after a morning of walking around. The food was good. I am Sharing a few photos but they don't it justice

A very inspiring gallery showing works of Picasso laid out in a way that tell the story of the artist, rather than arranged by periods or styles. I got a real idea of how much Picasso loved the people and the simple beauty around him to portray them so often and so intimately in his art. It made me very inspired. Photos inside are carefully monitored, so don’t expect any photos from inside. Go in with an open mind!

The #openairmuseum is such a trip to experience! 👏🏼 the #picassomuseum is interesting, really liked the video of the painting process. Definitely a must walk through, it'll help spark creativity!🎨 🧠 🌌 It's definitely interesting to see certain pieces one could consider "Chafa" as show pieces, yet it is also simultaneously inspiring to continue one's artistic passions no matter what

This wonderful exhibit is located within the Open Air Museum in Hakone. A visit exclusively here almost makes a trip to this resort town necessary. The 2 floor building showcases several of Picasso's many artistic expressions, including glass, drawings, ceramic, sculpture, and, of course, paintings. The Open Air Museum is the perfect setting for this exhibit.

From the outside, the Picasso Pavilion at The Hakone Open-Air Museum is a striking and modern structure that stands out within the picturesque landscape. The building itself is designed to complement the surrounding natural beauty while offering a contemporary space to house the extensive collection of Pablo Picasso's works.
