Syuhari — Hotel in Ito

Our room had a beautiful view of the sea, perfect for sunrise! You have an onsen in your room which was a rare find across Izu - we stayed in a total of four ryokans across Izu and though they had private onsen which you can reserve, Syuhari had both options! There are instructions of how to wear your kimono in your room too, very cute.||Our room was smaller than the others we had stayed but it is sufficient for a couple.||Staff though they didn't speak much English, were very welcoming and friendly, I had to have a Japanese friend help to email our arrival/departure plans. But they managed let us drop our bags off at 11am so that we could go and explore Omuroyama Volcano (40 mins walk), check in is an hour later than most places @ 3pm & they are unable to pick you up from the station much earlier than this time.||They were happy to drop off from 9am onward which was handy for us. ||||Dinner was nice, the soy soup, abalone and salad was the highlight for us and they definitely served a high variety of textures both for breakfast & dinner! It was one of the more interesting kaisekis that we had. The night time onigiri they left in a room was a nice touch too, plus they serve this delicious orange liquor there, a must try with your dinner. Unfortunately we couldn't buy a bottle from them though!||Dinner & breakfast is served in your room, though book your slot early, we are early starters and found 8:30am to be quite a late time for breakfast, 8am is their earliest.||||The public reserved bath was slightly larger than the one in your room with a big open air view of the sea & sunrise.||Location wise, it is perfect during sakura season as it is located on Izu Kogen Sakuranamiki Street, quiet for taking those perfect shots, nice view of Mt omuro too.||||Closest bus stop is Kabushiri, though only 3 buses a day so best to get a taxi, cost is...

Der Ryokan liegt ziemlich abgelegen, was zum Erholen einlädt. Bis auf das hauseigene Restaurant gibt es nur eine Möglichkeit in der Nähe zu speisen und das nur bis spätestens 20:00 Uhr. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und im alten Stil. Das verleiht dem Zimmer einen sehr authentischen Charakter und mit dem duftenden Holz kann man um so mehr entspannen. Der Service am Empfang war sehr gut, jedoch muss ich leider sagen, dass es auch da aufhört. Die Zimmer wurden nicht gereinigt und nur frische Bettwäsche, Wasser und Zahnbürsten wurden in den Eingangsbereich des Zimmers gelegt. Man musste selbst die Betten beziehen und bei Bedarf sauber machen. Für den Service spricht aber wiederum das Shuttle, den sie uns bei der Abreise angeboten haben, weil unser Taxi erst nach 40min...

「禁煙室」和室８畳＋前室　露天風呂付き客室　お部屋食で予約。万三郎（206）を利用しました。清掃が行き届いた部屋でしたが、古さを感じます。前室とのふすまはしっかりしまらず隙間があります。また、トイレの扉もしっかりしまらない状態でした。少し歪みがある気がします。 露天風呂と記載されていましたが、露天風呂と言うよりは、窓を全開にして半露天風呂という感じでした。ただし、窓を全開にすると他の部屋から見える感じで、入浴中は窓を閉めるしかないです。少し熱い感じでしたが、いつでも温泉に入ることができるのがよかったです。 食事は部屋食で、料理はとても美味しかったです。梅色と言う名前の魚の刺身をいただきました。初めて聞いた名前の魚で、漁獲量は少ない珍しい魚のようです。夕食は、料理をまとめて机に並べるのではなく、仲居さんが1品づつタイミングよく、部屋の届ける形で、 各料理の説明をいただきました。 布団の上げ下げはセルフになっており、朝食までに布団を上げておかなければいけないのが、少し大変でした。 貸切風呂がホテルの屋上にあり、チェックイン時に予約しましたが、明るい時間帯の方が眺めがいいと思います。夜の時間帯に予約したため、大島の明かり...
