Kagoshima Daiichi Hotel Kamoike — Hotel in Kagoshima

Not super impressed by this hotel. Bed had 3 walls around it. , making it hard to get in and out of bed with 2 people. We stayed in a “ small double” room. The bathroom is raised up really high and had almost no ventilation. Towels did not dry and there was maybe mold on the shower curtain. There was no conditioner- only shampoo and body soap. Lights were too bright, even the bedside one on dim was blinding when laying in bed.

Front desk staff was very nice and helpful and always smiling. They gave us good directions to the 24 hour, for ¥700 yen parking lot about a 2 min walk behind the building. There’s no parking. The streetcar doesn’t go to the hotel. There aren’t many restaurants nearby. Taxi to center of town was ¥760.

They had overpriced breakfast.

Bed was comfortable. Air condition worked well- the room was a little hot after showers.

Not super soundproof.

あまりにもひどすぎるのでこちらに記載いたします。 ビジネスで4泊朝食付きのプランで宿泊致しました。 値段は29.000円程。

皆さまが仰っている通り、昭和のホテルです。 客室ですが、まぁ可もなく不可もなくといった感じですが、タイルカーペットのせいか端々に埃があったり匂いがあったりしました。

次に水回りです。 アメニティ関係はハブラシのみ。 髭剃りとブラシはフロントから持っていきます。 あと、ハンドソープがありません。 あるのは、シャンプーとボディソープのみです。 また、ボディタオルもなく、フェイスタオルは一枚だけ。 そして、シャワーに関しては水圧というかシャワーヘッドがかなり小さいので冬場であれば風邪ひくレベルかと。 そして、温度の調整はよくある水とお湯を捻って調整するタイプですが、調整がかなりシビアです。 熱いときと温いときの両極端のレベルです。

朝食は和食と洋食が選べますが、洋食と言ったにもかかわらず出てきたのは和食です。 前日に宿泊者の数と朝食を合わせているので、間違えたら終わりです。 で、料理に関しては朝早くから作りおきにしてラップもしていないのサラダは乾燥してカピカピ。 ドレッシングも早いうちにかけているので分離している＋浸かっている部分はびしゃびしゃ。 味噌が入ってるのかわからないレベルの味噌汁。 ご飯は水分が多すぎてびしゃびしゃ。 焼き魚も、焼いてから時間が経っているのか、箸が曲がるレベルの硬さでした。

少なくとも自分は二度と泊まろうとは思いません。

スタッフさんの対応は丁寧で、ベッドの横にコンセントがあるぐらい...

It is a small business hotel but front desk staff are so professional. You can enjoy pleasant stay here. Reason for one minus is there's no restaurant and shops around this hotel. 7-Eleven is just 5 minutes walk...
