I went there with my 5 years old child. We watched a short movie about extinction of dinosaurs. There was exhibition of dinosaurs' skeleton and other body parts at that time. Had a pleasant time there. Recommended for elementary...

博物館として普通の感想はほかの方にお任せしますが。 ここの目玉は鹿児島で唯一のIMAX、しかも日本で唯一のフィルムタイプ。そして博物館という何を言っているのかわからなくなる代物。

しかも映写室がガラス張りなので、頭おかしいサイズ（直径１メートルくらいあるんだろうか…）のIMAXフィルムリールが間近で見えます。人間だけを殺す機械かよ！といった感じの異様。映像大好き系の人間にしてみれば、これだけでおなかいっぱい。

冬休みに遊びに行きました。 いろいろな体験ができる所で、ワークショップもありました。沢山あるなか、我が子と一緒にプラ板のキーホルダーを作りました。 科学ショーも開催されており、風に浮く風船のショーでした。ショーの最後に抽選もあり、えんぴつやネコ型のロボット？等、様々なグッズが当たるようでした。幸運なことに我が子は、不思議なコマのセットを頂けました。いろいろな模様で回るコマは、魅力的だったのか家に戻ってからも堪能していました。 ネコ型のロボットは、手で回しながら電力を作り、その力で走らせたり、電球を光らせたり、音を鳴らすといったキットでした。１階の受付でも購入することができます。対象年齢は高学年だったのですが、見た目もかわいく、欲しいと懇願されたので、お土産として購入させて頂きました。少し難しそうでしたが、親と一緒に楽しく遊べました。やり方さえ見たら、後は自分で色々...

恥ずかしながら大人が一日中楽しんでしまいました。 施設(入館料400円)の内容は　子供が小さい頃一緒に訪れた時とほとんど変わってはいませんでしたが　今は余裕がある分　細かい説明文までじっくり読んで新たな発見がありました。 手作り工作体験(無料)も15分くらいで完成できるものを選んで作りました。50分必要な物もあります。 プラネタリウム(500円)は1時間くらいです。酔いました〜😅 再入場が出来るそうで　駐車場無料時間が3時間　お昼を食べに出て　再入場でさらに2時間楽しみました。 隣のプールと同じ駐車場なので大会がある時は満車になり開館前から車が並んでいてなかなか入庫できません。大会がある日の利用を避けるか　遠くのコインパーキング利用になるそうです。
