ホテルモルゲンロート有馬温泉 — Hotel in Kobe

This nice Austrian style hotel was up the hill, but it was worth the climb. The room was much bigger than I expected. It was more like a small apartment. Very complete. Including fridge, microwave oven and stove. The room was very clean and everything I needed was there. I had a nice view over the village. There was a voucher for a visit to one of the two public baths included. I chose the Gin no Yu, because it was only 30 meters from the hotel.||The staff was friendly. The restaurant closed a bit too early. Like in many Japanese hotels the bed was a bit hard. ||I can really recommend this hotel and I would surely stay...

I was not expecting my room to be so big with a kitchenette. They give you an onsen coupon which you can use for either Kin no Yu or Gin no Yu. The hotel is about a 3 second walk from Gin no Yu. I had a nice window with a view of houses & hills nearby. You can also sit & eat out on the balcony. The mattress was not high quality but it was okay for one night. As other reviewers mentioned it is a slight uphill walk to get here, not what I would call strenuous unless you have some...

The Morgenot Hotel in Arima- Onsen is located up a steep hill slightly away from the village. Not for the faint hearted! The building is constructed in an alpine village style, all wooden contstruction, and outside stairs to the upper rooms. Rooms are larger than average, and reasonably appointed, but old fashioned. Would regard as overpriced for what is on offer, but then it is in a hot springs area, and thus chooses to charge...
