This nice Austrian style hotel was up the hill, but it was worth the climb. The room was much bigger than I expected. It was more like a small apartment. Very complete. Including fridge, microwave oven and stove. The room was very clean and everything I needed was there. I had a nice view over the village. There was a voucher for a visit to one of the two public baths included. I chose the Gin no Yu, because it was only 30 meters from the hotel.||The staff was friendly. The restaurant closed a bit too early. Like in many Japanese hotels the bed was a bit hard. ||I can really recommend this hotel and I would surely stay...
Read moreI was not expecting my room to be so big with a kitchenette. They give you an onsen coupon which you can use for either Kin no Yu or Gin no Yu. The hotel is about a 3 second walk from Gin no Yu. I had a nice window with a view of houses & hills nearby. You can also sit & eat out on the balcony.
