Disgusting place 🤮 Very bad from the moment I walked inside 👎🏻 a poor excuse for a hotel. I’m not going to believe any excuse they respond with..if they even bother to own up to anything. Staff lied about the parking being “ reserved” when you could fit multiple cars in there all day & everyday. Wouldn’t allow us to park our tiny kei car in their parking (which WAS advertised) but allowed Japanese guests to park there in front of us as we were leaving. They were not reserved. Wasted our time driving to 6 parking full parking lots they suggested on a map. They didn’t care about our problem & did nothing to help, just palmed it off because we already paid for the room online. The staff tried to play dumb & were dismissive when we asked why we couldn’t park in their empty lot even though they could understand English. We had to carry our luggage from far away back to the hotel in the cold & we have to pay extra parking fees on top of this. They also gave us a smoking room when we asked for NON smoking with no offer of reimbursement. It’s a big shame because the place looked glamorous online but the treatment from staff & cleaning was...
Read moreTravelled from Kawaguchiko and stayed for one night. We were not aware how close to the station is this hotel which is handy if you are staying one night or two days. We arrived late as we missed the last bus from Kawaguchiko to Mishima and they were expecting us. They helped us with a small issue we had with our payment with out any problems. When we went to our room we found a nice welcome letter. The room was clean and tidy. Next day we went down to reception and a lady; Yamashina was at the reception and she did help us a lot. Her service is fantastic. We had some issues with our payment still and she took an extra mile to help us. Things worked perfectly fine thanks to her. She took her time and kept smiling while the situation was being fixed. We really appreciate her help. So thank you Yamashina! Thank you Hotel Massimo Mishima! Thank...
Read moreWe have been in this Hotel for three nights... and it is a nice and friendly place, very near to the the train and Bus Station, with lots of Restaurants near to it. The rooms are small (as all over Japan) but actually the served the best Western and Asian Breakfast Buffet we had in Japan! Staff is nice (with poor English, but one can manage) and the rooms are clean.||Mishima is not very much visited by Western Tourists - but thats an error! From the Hotel Massimo you reach in 5 minutes the train station and you can take local trains to Numazu on the coast of the Pacific Ocean (only 1 station). Or a Bus to the Mishima Skywalk with the best view to Mount Fuji or another Bus to the wonderful Hakone Area with the Ashi lake and a great view to...
