Yukai Resort Koshinoyu — Hotel in Nachikatsuura

I am a chinese good at english and could understand little Japanese. Booked this resort on their website easily. Could contact with the hotel in English via email. ||The price is great comparing with other hotel in the same town.||The servies is quite wonderful and thoughtful. When I arrived, the receptionist (a mid age man) provided me with map of the town, map of the resort, draw the routs to room, spring baths, restaurant, lobby and shops, the routs to places in town, the timetable of the ferrier, etc. A lot of documents. When I left, I asked about the weather, then the receptionist answered nicely and provide me an umbrella for free.||The room for solo traveller is huge and including a big balcony and a smaller room for luggage and storage I guess. Very clean and tidy. Japanese beds are already been made. Lots of accessories, stuffs provided in the room for any of your needs. Some local cookies and tea bags for guest. Tap water is hot spring water that is not suitable to drink but good for skin. Great sea and island view. You can walk with slippers in the entire resort.||The food is above average but not extraordinary. A lot of local foods. More cold dishes than hot ones, Japanese style. Restaurant and lobby have free wifi. A local goos shop and lots of autovernder machine in the resort. Hot spring bath is great. A bottle of milk is the plus so do remember to bring money to bath. ||The only weakness is the location is a bit far from train station and difficult to find than other...

2024年12月 大江戸温泉物語とブランド統一後初訪問。

潮騒の湯入り口の手前、フリードリンクコーナーには今まで通りのソフトドリンクに加えてビール、チューハイ、ハイボール日本酒、柚子酒、ワイン等が飲み放題となりました。新たにフロント付近にも同じ様式が新設されています。

食事はマグロの刺身、ライブキッチンのステーキの質が少し良くなった様に思います。

デザートのアイスクリーム、種類は減りましたが、ハーゲンダッツの抹茶、イチゴが新投入されていました。

これらにて値上げ千円を超えるならアルコールをあまり飲まない自分としてはイマイチな印象です。

その他の食事関係はほとんと変化無しかと。相変わらず水煙蒸しの魚介類が臭みが強くて食べられませんでした。

温泉について 朝に男子風呂となる三山の湯は何故か温泉が薄いと言いますか、硫黄臭がほとんどない。又、いずれの庭園風呂もただのお湯？温泉を感じられません。

夜は男性、朝は女性用となる潮騒の湯の内風呂が一番泉質が良いかと。女性は朝早めに起きてゆっくり利用される事を是非お勧めします。

朝風呂利用終了が10時、チェックアウト時間が11時と、1時間短縮されたのはゆっくり過ごしたい自分としては残念。

2024年9月再訪 平日連休にて今回は木造棟の2階風呂無し海側を利用してみました。価格はネット割引券利用で二食付き1万円少々。

景色は前回の本館風呂無し海側よりこちらのほうが良かったかと思います。

古いが室内は清潔に清掃されておりレトロ感があります。しかし2階の廊下がミシミシ、耐震性は厳しいでしょう。万一の地震を考えるとちょっと怖い。

温泉は相変わらず軽い硫黄臭に包まれて快適です。

前回、入る時間によって硫黄臭の強弱を感じたのですが、源泉の熱い差し湯がなされた時に硫黄臭が強まるのではないかと思います。

食事はセイロ蒸しの肉とカレーの肉が羊肉？ コストダウンかもしれませんが臭みがありダメでした。天ぷらは衣が厚くてイマイチ。マグロはおそらくビンチョウでしょうか。スーパーで売ってる刺身レベルかと。

まぁ二食付きでこの価格なら納得出来ます。デザートが充実、朝のフレンチトーストが旨かった。

食事の質はそれなりながら、チェックアウトが12時なので朝からゆっくり温泉を堪能出来るし、1人利用でもリーズナブルに海辺で硫黄香る掛け流し温泉を楽しめる宿はなかなかありません。

又、きちんと立ち止まっていらっしゃいませと一礼されるスタッフさんもおられました。なかなか難しい所ですが全員統一感あれば気持ち良いですね。

心身リフレッシュには最適！またリピートします。

My last stay here (2 years ago) was quite pleasant, that's why I came back with my family. However, it's unlikely that i would recommend Koshinoyu again after this. ||||Basically, things didn't change after my last stay. Rooms are still clean with perfect seaview, and the hotel provides pick-up and drop-off services at reasonable price, which I really appreciate. ||||The problem is that they no longer have English-speaking staff, at the time i checked in they gave me the keys and maps then it's all done. I tried asking about directions, changing dinner time, making hot baths arrangements but all of these had been so hard.||||I can't comment on the service but I am confident that hotels in Japan are all committed to providing pleasant services but on vacation I would prefer places easier for communication, so for me I think I am not...
