The service was fantastic and the accommodations for our baby were immediate and sincere. We were impressed with them doing the right thing and not allowing smoking during the long holiday though I would strongly advice them to ban it all together knowing how WRONG smoking in public is. More than 600,000 people have been killed in Japan due to 2nd-hand smoke, and it must be educated throughout the world more especially in a high society such as Japan with its knowledge of health and medicine. Restaurants and public services can help educate people by not enabling smokers and disallowing them the power to poison the majority of us, especially women and children from becoming ill from tobacco smoke. Delicious! We arrived around 8pm on a Monday, most restaurants are shut on Monday evenings FYI. We ordered the evening set meal (tuna, some beef) and it was absolutely delicious and cost 3000 yen each. We also got the seared tuna. Great quality and super fresh. Even the miso soup was better than most we’ve had. Friendly staff, we used Google translate to communicate. English menu with photos. Ordered via iPad, and take it up to the till with you when you’re done. Paid by card no problem. They also sold whale but we didn’t order for ethical reasons. Probably one of my top three meals I've had in Japan. I got the tuna dinner set which was 3300 yen, I loved the tuna sashimi so much that I got an additional order of that too. Everything was so good - the beef melts in your mouth, the tuna has the smoothest and richest flavor I've ever tasted. It was also very easy for me to order even though I don't speak Japanese, because you order on an ipad :) highly recommend coming to eat the tuna here!
