Stopped for just under an hour while changing trains in Kii-Katsuura. Delicious Basque Cheesecake (“made with double cheese!”) and good cafe lattes - not something to be taken for granted in smaller towns.
We had already eaten, but the lunch sets at the nearby tables smelled great.
Do note that there is one barista/chef + 1 staff, so service might not be the fastest. They happily accommodated our request to change our coffees to takeaway - probably the right choice, rather than gulping it down and rushing...

The menu is very nice and original with vegetarian options, the food is really good, staff is super, good vibes in this place. They serve good coffee until they close and have good desserts too.
