We are still in this hotel, where we stayed last year and we have a 5-day stay. During check-in they explained to us that we were responsible for cleaning the room one of the days and that if we needed to change the towels we could do so at reception. Last year this policy did not exist. I can understand these policies for an ecological reason of saving water and resources, but what is not explained or notified anywhere, neither in the reservation method nor on the website, is that you have to take the dirty towels down to reception yourself. The collection of used towels should be in the room by cleaning staff and not by walking around the hotel yourself, as a client, with them in hand, and even less with the one used for the shower floor. It is completely unhygienic and does not follow any ecological policy. We have paid for a hotel cleaning service, not a hostel where you do everything yourself. From experience and because I work in a hotel in Spain in the tourist area and I know the sector, this fact seems more deplorable to me. After complaining at reception, they insisted that it was an internal policy that I had warned them about and that they were not informed about and that it was not written down anywhere, so I asked the employee to go up with me to collect them. I find it outrageous and unhygienic to join someone in the lift who carries their dirty towels to reception, this should be studied by the corresponding health bodies of the...
Read moreT his hotel is vile. From the first step inside they have a “beautiful” balloon arch welcoming you that clearly has been sitting there for a while. It REEKS of latex. That’s your first impression of the hotel. Then, luggage transfers are just left out in the lobby. Unsupervised and undocumented. Luckily we had friends already checked in so they took our luggage to their room.
The rooms are incredibly small, you can’t have your luggage open and have access to the bathroom door AND the rooms main door. It’s one of the other. Not enough space.
THEY DONT CLEAN THE ROOMS. I had first had this fear when they told us at check in to bring our dirty wet towels to the reception desk to get new ones. Why wouldn’t the cleaning people swap the towels out since they are already up there… well cause they don’t come up there. We came back and at the bare minimum expected the bed to be reset. It was not. Nothing was touched. They didn’t come.
You wouldn’t be surprised by this however, cause the rooms feel dirty. The sheets when we arrived seemed dirty, the bathroom smells of leaked sewage (this lasted our whole trip), there is dust on surfaces. The hotel is GROSS. Whoch makes sense after learning of their “cleaning” schedule.
We only booked this hotel cause it was our very VERY last option. Do not book at this hotel. It’s...
Read moreThe room smell like poop, the window cant be opened, ventilation was bad. No follow up action was done by the hotel.
Hallway filled with garbage bag. Tried to complaint via agoda also not getting anywhere.
Feb 16 edit: Since this review function can’t have a reply function on your comment, I will type here:
I have notify the hotel staff through agoda message, direct response from you guys was: Windows cant be open.
I as well notify the hotel via agoda message about the ventilation is bad and since the window is locked, i request for a bigger room so that i can have more fresh air, but hotel response “they dont have a bigger room” And hotel didnt come to my room and check the ventilation, didnt arrange me to switch room with the same size. And only telling me to use the AIR PURIFIER.
I personally went down to the hotel front desk, front desk staff tell me the window is locked. Please check the security footage pf the front desk if needed, or check with your crew.
And agoda customer service is not going anywhere, so i am writing on google. Try to let others know how you treat your customers (added two more photos of the dusty elevatory and room, not much photo i have since i did not expect that i have to keep all these...
