This great value for money hotel is often overlooked but is actually ideal for travellers. Very close to the JR Narita station, its position makes it ideal after a long flight or if you have to catch an early morning flight and need somewhere to stay. The rooms are older, but clean and comfortable with all the amenities. The breakfast is great value and the staff are wonderful. This has become my first choice now for Narita. Here’s a tip on getting there from the JR Narita station so you avoid a giant staircase with luggage - look at the photos for more details. At Narita station, exit and turn left - see the photos for more with the train gate. Continue right to the end w here the elevator is. Go down to level 1. When the door opens, you will see a big bicycle parking area. Follow the green painted pedestrian path straight out of the elevator, which turns right and will put you outside of the station at ground level. Go straight ahead – check the map in the photo – and go past the Narita-U hotel which is on the other side of the street. Cross at the pedestrian lights, and then walk back just a little way back to the hotel. I promise you, you will not want to take your suitcase over that massive staircase and pedestrian bridge. Once you’re there, the photos will make it easy. I’ve included a photo of the Hotel as well so you’ll know what...
Read moreHotel/Premises: The hotel is not newly renovated (reminded me of 80s or early 90s). It is a multistorey building with multiple rooms on each floor. Check-in and check-out was fast and the reception was friendly.
Room: The room was of outdated style but clean. It is pretty tiny, but was OK for 2 adults with a suitcase. The room didn’t have microwave or mini fridge but had an electric kettle with free tea. Wi-Fi was good. Had USB plugs.
Bathroom: Outdated as well, but clean. It has one of those Japanese-style toilets (with self-washing properties). Also came with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, free tooth brush and hair brush.
Location/Public Transportation: Hotel is located right next to Narita railway station (100m). So, if you are not taking advantage of the free shuttle bus to Narita, you can take the train (one stop). The shuttle bus take you to and from Narita. The shuttle bus stops at bus stop 16 by the south wing of arrivals. Very easy to find. Upon exiting to arrivals hall you can find informations machine and look up the location. The shuttle bus drivers have offer great customer service. Sevel-Eleven is located down the street (80 meters) and there are other dining places around.
Overall Experience: We had a good time there and will definitely book this hotel again. Good for...
