During my recent visit to Japan, I had the pleasure of dining at Sushidokoro Tsuchiya, and I must say it was an unforgettable experience. The sushi here is crafted by a master with 45 years of experience, and it truly shows in every bite.

The sushi was incredibly fresh, with each piece melting in my mouth. The quality of the fish was outstanding, easily the best I’ve had in Japan. What made the experience even more special was the sushi master himself. Although he speaks only a little English, he takes the time to explain each dish, sharing his deep knowledge and passion for sushi.

Amazing restaurant! Do not let the ambience of the restaurant intimate you, the chef is actually very nice and welcoming!

I was worried at first since there was nobody inside, but once I sat down and ordered, the chef started talking to me in English, he explained how to properly eat the prepared sashimi and sushi, where it came from, and explained the history behind the sushi ingredients.

One of the best meals I have ever had. Excellent omakase for a very reasonable price prepared by a master chef who speaks English. Definitely worth stopping by if you have a layover in Narita.
