Due to a long weekend in Japan and with just about every hotel room in Sendai booked out or unobtainable, we had to look at options close to that city but not too far out. On a recent visit to the area, I had noticed this hotel which seemed a bit out of place and managed to find rooms there for a reasonable rate (under Y7,000 per night) which we were more than happy to take. ||The hotel is only a six minute tax ride from Natori Station (served by the Tohoku Main Line, Joban Line and the Sendai Airport Access Line) so the tax fare should be between Y600 - 700. Service is prompt and the rooms are as big as most standard Japanese hotel rooms (between 23 m2 to 28m2) which is adeuqate enough. I have been coming here for three years, as have enjoyed staying here. Its a few stops from Sendia Station, and on the way to the local Airport.

Very clean sand comfortable rooms, great breakfast and a good menu on offer in the restraunt. Small but adequate onsen, massage chairs, vending machines and washing machines available.

The staff are excellent, they really go out their way to help and assist in any way. Always polite and accommodating.

The service at the front desk was polite. The facility is about 12 years old. Great condition well kept. Frequented by aircrew. I have to comment that there were some funny moments in the room such as filling up the air pot as it did not fit into the sink. It was so huge. I had to be creative. I felt a sense of degraded convenience. Perhaps the management should review the size of the kettle for guests. Consider solo business people are the main customers of route inn, perhaps the kettle doesn’t need to be that big. But I found that the it was helpful to keep my coffee...
