There were 4 of us in our family (all adults) and we reserved 2 twin rooms for 3 nights.||||The hotel room is relatively spacious for Osaka standards and the beds were comfortable. Wifi was strong throughout the whole hotel. When we checked in, an African porter came to greet us, gave us a welcome drink and was very courteous. Breakfast was good – a good mix of western and Japanese style food. It was clean and organised. Not every staff member speaks English but there is usually an English-speaking assistant at the front desk.||||It was slightly disappoint to us when we found out that hotel guests had to pay extra for the use of the sauna and the indoor swimming pool which normally one would expect to be included in the hotel room fee.||||One issue with the hotel is its car park which is quite limited (there are only about 15 spaces) and you cannot reserve the spaces in advance (they charge JPY1500 per day and you can have multiple entries). Fortunately, there are a number of metered street parking areas nearby (within 1 minute walk) which charge only max. JPY900 to JPY1100 per day.||||The JR station is about 5 mins’ walk away but it is NOT part of the Osaka metro and so you must pay separately for the journey to Osaka-Umeda station (which connects you to the Osaka metro network). There are lots of restaurants nearby which close quite late. I would consider staying here again if I were to return to Osaka.||||We paid a total of JPY78,000 for 3 days for 2 twin rooms (i.e. JPY39,000 per room for 3 days) and we stayed at the hotel at the end of December. Booking was...
Read moreThe location of the hotel was in the northern part of the big city. Carpark was available in the basement at a reasonable price per day for multiple entries. But most of the lots were installed with metal frames, which created some difficulty in parking. There were many convenient stores nearby. The hotel also had a small shop selling souvenirs. Vending machines were installed on the ground floor. Four restaurants were operating in the hotel, rather high-end spending. Not many restaurants were found within walking distance. Small hotels for hourly stay were its neighbour, but not disturbing. A sizable indoor regular swimming pool and a gym room were charged at a low rate. If a room on the high floor was booked, the view was quite good because other buildings were not so tall. The room size was acceptable with respect to the price, which included buffet breakfast. The decorative frame above the window was good for hanging light clothes for drying. The bathroom seemed too small because the ceiling was low. A stepping board was provided due to exceptionally high toilet floor level. However, the steam during bathing could not be easily ventilated in view of the space inside. The mirror could be improved so that part of it would still be used just after bathing. The height of the beds was comparatively low. Bottled water was offered free only on the check-in day, which was not a common practice. Some tours were also...
Read moreAmazing hotel that I would definitely return to! We spent our first week of our 3 week vacation in Japan here and I will never forget it. The amenities are great and the room was spacious yet snug. Air conditioning was quick and easy to adjust. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had a great selection of both western food and japanese cuisine. Their eggs mini pancakes were the best! 🩷
A very very special thank you to the Manager of guest relations Muniru Issifu Mohammed-san for making one of the most special nights of my life. We wanted to make a reservation for the in-hotel restaurant Ousaka and also wear a rental kimono. He guided us through the whole procedure and made sure we had everything we needed and the staff helped eith getting us dressed and making us feel special. When we were done with dinner (stunning and delicious by the way) Mr. Muniru was waiting for us by the elevator and brought us to the roof to look at the amazing view and take pictures! We never asked or even knew that we could but it made a special evening to an unforgettable memory. Thank you so so much Muniru-san. Thank you 🩷
I hope to stay again next time we come to Osaka.
The only small thing we would say as the smallest negative is that the beds were too hard for our Scandinavian bodies, but I understand that it is a preference, but I thought I should still write it. But even despite that we cannot recommend this hotel...
