Sapporo Oriental Hotel — Hotel in Sapporo

I booked this hotel for three nights. On the first night, they told me at 8 PM that there was no hot water. Tonight is my last night, and something truly disturbing happened: someone opened my room door at midnight. I was asleep and woke up in shock, screaming, because the door actually opened. The person didn’t say a single word and just ran off. A normal person would be startled and apologize if they accidentally opened an occupied room — especially after being screamed at — but this person just fled. There’s a Japanese lady staying right across from me, and her door was open as she was watching TV. I asked if she saw who tried to open my door, but she said no — even though the chain lock made a loud crashing sound. She claimed she heard nothing and saw no one, which seems suspicious. I went downstairs to confront the front desk, and the staff immediately pulled out a translation device and apologized, saying they had accidentally given my room key to someone else. This level of mismanagement is completely unacceptable — especially for a solo female traveler. Now I’m too afraid to sleep. After searching online, I found that many solo female travelers in Japan have experienced similar hotel incidents. This seems to be a common and potentially criminal pattern that’s being ignored. 我在這裡訂了三天 第一天晚上才八點就跟我說沒有熱水了 今天是最後一天 晚上12點有人開我房門 而且我的房門還真的被打開了 我在睡夢中嚇醒 尖叫 對方居然一句話也沒說就跑了 正常人開房門結果裡面居然有人不是應該也嚇到並抱歉嗎 我尖叫這麼大聲還大罵 而他居然就直接跑了 我正對面住著一位日本阿姨 她房門沒關 看著電視 我先問他有沒有看到剛剛開我房間的人 她居然說沒有 這麼大聲的撞擊鏈條的聲音 她說沒有人 我下樓要找櫃檯理論 櫃檯人員看到我來就開始操作翻譯機 他說他很抱歉把我的鑰匙給錯了別人 這管理太扯了吧 我一個女生現在根本不敢睡覺 上網查了有不少獨旅的女生在日本跟我有相同的飯店經歷...

Very convenient location. Close to train station,parks and shop.

Small room with very basic necessities. The carpet need to be clean more often cos it is very dusty under the bed 😬.

Lift are super small. Probably can fit 2 big luggage and a couple . Only one lift for this hotel.

Value for money. Stayed here during snow festival, good location, very close to Nakajima koen station, Neat & clean rooms having all the basic amenities eg brush, razor, towel, night fleece etc. Above all is delicious continental breakfast...
