I’d give it 3 stars for food - lamb roll had a very unpleasant taste that a lamb lover like myself could barely stand it. Beef fingers were good but for the rest of the beef items, I expected better quality for this price. And shockingly, no one speaks English and they barely even tried. They kinda wanted to brush me under the carpet and even pretended they didn’t hear my question when I wanted to clarify the menu items. While every ramen, gyoza, and hole in the wall spot I’ve been to has been friendly and made an effort to communicate, the service at this place was shockingly below standard. Foreign friendly restaurants, they have menus on tablet and in different languages. It’s not fully translated, but you can get the idea from the pictures. I ordered dinner set C, it comes with a cup of beer. The taste is surprisingly good! The beef is very juicy and tender, you can feel it’s melting in your mouth! I like the seaweed rice also, fried seaweed with some nuts mixed with rice, it’s sweet and a bit of crunchy feel. I’ve tasted a lot of yakiniku restaurants in Japan, while this store can hit top 3. Shop is nice and cozy and that’s all good about this shop. Food was average but pricey. Ordered 2 plates of their wagyu beef and ordered another one but did not come in the end. When making payments, enquired about the missing plate of beef but they insisted that it was served. As we are not locals, we begrudgingly paid for it in the end. The few waiters/waitress were joking and laughing among themselves, treating us like clowns. We will never step into this place again. This shop is not what I expect from in a place like Japan.
