Ichikawa annex Seikanso — Hotel in Shibukawa

The room at Ichikawa Bekkan Seikanso is spacious and beautiful scenery of Ikaho Onsen Town and Shibukawa (I guess!) is really appreciated from room window. ||||If you come to Ikaho by JR bus, the bus will drop you off at Ikaho Bus Center. You have to call the hotel to pick you up, since walking to hotel with baggage is quite hard as hotel is uphill. However, when you start wandering around and walk up Ikaho Steps to the top, it's only 15-minute walk downhill back to the hotel, and it's easy.||||There are 3 private onsens at the hotel that you can choose from, free of charge. 2 of them are outdoor and it's really great, especially after spending time walking up 365 steps in Ikaho town. Moreover, there are 2 public onsens (men and women separately), too. Since I didn't have a room with meal plan, I can say that the best part of my stay here is private outdoor onsen and the view from room.||||Although staffs are limited in English conversation, but they are eagerly answer your questions and recommend walking course for you (in Japanese and little English :-) Guy who drove us to hotel is very helpful, sorry I don't know his name. For Western visitors this should help. This Onsen is beautiful and the staff are all very kind and helpful. Minimal English skills but enough to get by along with google translate. 嫁と僕の家族4人で行きました。 口コミを観てそこまで期待しないでいったのですがめちゃくちゃ良かったです。 まず車で旅館の前に着いたらすぐスタッフが出てきてくれてお荷物お預かりしますと言う言葉と駐車場のご案内。 寒かったのですがとても館内は暖かく そしてロビーにつくなり受付のソファーにご案内して頂きとても美味しいコーヒー。 館外はとても歴史がある風景でとても古い雰囲気。 館内はしっかりと細かい所の清掃が行き届いていて細かな配慮がありました。 ロビーには空気清浄機エレベーター内には芳香剤のお花のお飾り。 いつでも座れるように廊下の所々に椅子がおいてあり（母は足が悪く杖をついてます。）とても助かりました。 部屋は旅館の配慮でグレードアップして頂き窓からは伊香保の山々が見渡せるとても感動的な部屋にして頂きました。 部屋の中も古いのですがちゃんと配慮が行き届いてありエコの電気を使わない加湿器は凄くオシャレでよかったです。 部屋も初めからとても暖かく良かったです。 お食事は本当に豪華で沢山のメニューがあり本当に美味しかったです。 お食事の部屋も個室になっておりゆっくりと家族団欒で美味しい懐石料理を頂きました。お食事は事前にグレードアップしてあるコースでシャブシャブとステーキ、懐石料理のコースでした。 本当に食べきれない位の量で大満足でした。 なんと言ってもやはり温泉。 貸し切り露天風呂が３つもありとても広く大満足でした。 泉質も柔らかく温度も僕は丁度良い少しぬるま湯で長く入れる温度で本当にゆっくりと入れて身体の芯までポカポカと温まりました。 全ての貸し切り風呂を堪能しました。 3箇所のうち2箇所はとても広めの露天風呂で嫁と2人では本当に広過ぎる位の広さでもう1つは檜風呂の内湯で広くもなく狭くもない位のゆっくり入れる広さです。 凄くゆっくりと入れてとても満足でした。

ただ１つ難点がほとんどのシャワーのお湯の出が凄く悪くほぼ水かお湯ならちょぼちょぼでした。 ただ最後に支配人の方がシャワーの事をお詫びしていたのでそこもしっかりと言葉だけですが配慮されているなと感じましたし全然悪く思いませんでした。 そこだけがちょっと勿体無いと思いました。

次の日の朝はお会計時の時はロビーでとても美味しいコーヒーととても素晴らしい音響でビートルズを聴きながらゆっくりと過ごしながらのお会計。

オフシーズンのせいだったのかお客さんの数は少なかった為なのか本当に細かい配慮がされておりとても大満足で家族全員が（とても良かったね！またここ行きたいね！）の言葉と思いが自然と帰りに溢れてました。 本当にこの度は良い思い出を...
