Stayed there for one night. ||||The hotel is located very near to the bus terminal, around 5 minutes walk. We stayed in a room without private onsen, the room was spacious, clean and tidy.||||We had our dinner and breakfast in the room and we chose the dining time when we checked-in. Staff served our dinner and breakfast punctually. The meals were delicious and yummy. ||||The Onsen was spacious and clean, with one indoor onsen and one outdoor onsen. Water temperature was hot and the onsen was enjoyable. ||||Staff could speak basic English so that there was no communication problem. They were helpful and nice. ||||A minor point that I will deduct marks for this hotel. We went to the Kamigochi the next day after we checked out. The hotel staff helped keeping our luggages. We told the staff that we would be back to the hotel in the afternoon to get our luggages, when we returned at around 3 p.m., the staff had already put our luggages at the lobby of the hotel. Well, while we did not have any valuables inside our luggages, I felt a bit surprised that the luggages were just placed in the lobby without any staff attending to. I do trust the public security of Japan and I agree that it was the low season when we visited there, but I think it would be better if the hotel could store our luggages in a room when no one was in the lobby and take out our luggages when we were back.||||All in all, comfortable and warm hotel. I don't have anything to complain except the luggages...

Read morefacilities are a little dated BUT staff are very friendly. they have free rental of snow boots during winter. dinner and breakfast are hearty. i was not able to finish my dinner. the hida beef they served was excellent, almost melted inside my mouth. location is just walking distance from bus terminal. you can leave your luggage (but only at the lobby with no locks whatsoever. if you are paranoid, you might go crazy lol because there is no person to guard/secure the items.you literally just leave your baggages at the lobby. you just have to trust them lol but this is japan so it's pretty safe). i was not able to sleep because i found the futon thin for me. but my friends were ok with it. i love how they left a tea set on the table after they saw the daifuku box we had. very...
