The location of this hotel was so convenient! It was my first time in Japan with my partner but the walk to the train station was so close. We could easily access all the places we wanted to travel to. Since we had a lot of places to wanted to visit in the Shinjuku/Shibuya area. If you are coming from Haneda it is quite a trip so be prepared for that. It was my first time hauling around my luggage and being in Tokyo for the first time so it was overwhelming at first lol. The staff were super nice and lovely as well. If you need to check in/check out they will hold your luggage for you as long as you pick it up before the day is over. Me and my partner were able to go out exploring before our flight on the day that we left Tokyo without having to haul our luggage around. They always had a smile and welcomed you when you came back from a day of outing! The little amenities were right by the elevator so you could always pick up something before you left to your room. The only downside is that many of the hair ironers and other things were gone so I never got to try them. The room was very clean and the housekeeping was very nice as well. They usually emptied out the trash bins but we had big bags of trash that they didn't take out. So we called the housekeeping again and left a note so they knew that they could throw it away! I think they were being very mindful and respectful of our things just in case. I accidentally put a wash for too long... I had reservations at a cafe in Chuo City which is far from our hotel so I wasn't going to be able to pick up my laundry. I let the staff know and they bagged my clothes nicely until I returned. Not all of the staff knew English so when I was talking to the receptionist she tried her very best to understand what I was saying. She even got a translator out to tell me what she was saying in Japanese. Overall it was very peaceful and quiet in the hotel. I loved the view from my room. Everyday I miss Japan and I cannot wait...

Room We reserved a basic twin and the room was very small, however, the use of the space is very well done! Plenty of cupboards and cubbies for all of your belongings. There was enough room for our two average sized suitcases and backpacks to be stored under the desk when not in use. The bathroom was a decent size and was very clean, equipped with a full bathtub and a Toto washlet. The room was SO quiet, we were never disturbed by another guest or sounds from outside.
Service Check in and checkout are automated (at a kiosk) but took less than 5 minutes to complete. The hotel offers free amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryer in the room, in addition to skin care, body care, tea, coffee, toothbrush etc. products in the lobby). You can also rent hair irons, steamers, and other items in the lobby. Pajamas offered in the lobby and on each floor. The room is cleaned at minimum every 3rd day but you can request earlier if needed. Breakfast is available for 1800 Y per adult.
Location This hotel is literally a minute from the Takadanobaba station, where the Yamanote JR line runs. The Yamanote line directly connects you to Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ueno, without the need to stay directly in the busiest areas. There is also a subway station directly next to the train station. It was so nice to head back to a quieter area each night. There is a Don Qui right next door, a wonderful multi level shopping mall with a Uniclo across the street, a McDonald’s and 7/11 right down the road. I can’t say enough the location was amazing.
Would definitely stay at this hotel again if I was back...
Read moreNo air conditioning and staff do not speak english, It is the second time i stayed here. Last time was smooth. But this time, i stayed two nights, on 11/F, when i back to the room, i inserted the card, switched on the air conditioning;, there was no response. The hotel just switched off the air conditioning back end. I have to called to the front desk and they said it is now ok, then there was air from the air conditioner. The second evening, same thing happened. I need to call again the front desk. I asked if everytime i need air conditioning i have to make a call? The front desk staff no respond, just silent, and just asked me to wait and held the line for 4-5 mins, when he back to the lline, he repeated to be silent. I asked him if he can hear me(over the phone)? Do you know English? It was just silence. It is very disappointed that the staff do not respond, and do not understand how the air control system! I stayed at the opposite hotel for twice, i will choose the opposite hotel instead. Due to this hotel have the cons:1. Front desk staff do not speak eng, do not understand what you said over the phone. Unless i guess, you need to go downstair lobby, use the google translator in Japanses.2. No air conditioning! At all. For two nights, the switch in the room is useless, there is no air at all, during the heat wave end july!3. Hand towel texture is poor, not absorb any water4. No bottle of water5. Room is too small. cannot open my 26 inch luggage, ( last time I brought the handcarry luggage) i stayed in a superior double...
