We had travel issues and had to stay near Haneda airport but the Toyoko Inn we stayed at close to Haneda was fully booked one of the three nights we were stuck in Tokyo and they sent us to this one on night three. It was a big enough difference between the two for this place to be somewhere between POOR and AVERAGE. Overall I think Toyoko Inn's are great value but this one specifically put us in a smoking room which had the worst nicotene stench I've ever experienced, making it through the night was challenging, I woke up couhgin several times but all non-smoking rooms were booked so we couldn't hold this against them too much. Still, they were next to a very loud construction site and the noise was coming through pretty loud. Also, overall the place felt a little dingy and not unsafe but not the safest either. Neighborhood was vibrant but in a city way, not necessarily a good way. Lobby was small, felt cramped. On the positive side they do have free wifi, the staff person tried very hard to be helpful, a simple but yummy Japanese breakfast was included, and they have free sue of computer and printer downstairs which was...

I was lucky to find it. Being a business hotel, I would have expected a better service for IT. There is a bus to the airport nearby, so it is very convenient. But it is a bit of a walk from the Keikyu Kamata station (not advisable to walk if you have...
