KEIKYU EX INN KAMATA — Hotel in Tokyo

As Haneda has added more international flights recently, and many of the long distance flights leave/arrive either early in the morning or late at night, we need to stay close to the airport more often. However, there are only a limited number of hotels at the airport and all of them are as expensive as downtown hotels in Tokyo. Kamata, a ten minute train ride, is a good alternative. It is an old town with reasonable small hotels. You can take very frequent trains to Tokyo as well as Yokohama in 20 min or less.||||The hotel is within a few minute walk from Keikyu Kamata station where Airport train stops (10 min to International terminal). You can also take a direct bus to the terminals. The hotel is a typical business hotel is a busy commercial area. While the building is easy to identify from the distance, it is difficult to find the right entrance (elevator) from which you have to go up for the reception on the 4th floor to check in. The room is very basic and is considered small even for the Japanese standard. However, it has a flat TV, Wifi (Free), as well as an air cleaner and an electric trouser pants presser. Overall, the room is spotlessly clean and well maintained.||||If a breakfast is included in your plan, you should know that the hotel itself does not have a breakfast space. Instead you are asked to choose either a Japanese restaurant or a hamburger shop on the ground floor of the same building (a voucher is provided).||||I believe this hotel is a good choice for the night before you fly out of Haneda, however, I would not recommend it for anyone who wants to spend a night after arriving at Haneda late at night as the frequency of the train is limited, and it may be difficult for you to get there from the station as the shops are closed and...
