Tsubame-Sanjo Washington Hotel — Hotel in Tsubame

This place was a conundrum. Plenty of hot water, nice bath, nice shower, nice toilet, nice bed, but the room is tiny, it smelt of cigarette smoke everywhere and the air con could barely cope with the temperature of the room. I’m not sure if this is considered a good hotel by Japanese standards but it’s not good overall. The staff are great and very responsive and friendly. I just thought the rooms needed renovating and knocking together to make them bigger. I had to move the table and chairs just to open my suitcase. As the air con is poor, it was particularly bad that I had to turn off all the power, including the air con, when leaving the room. The supermarket at the back is handy as they don’t provide any bottled water. ...

I was in this hotel in the same hotel on 23 rd & 24 th June.This is indeed nice & cozy hotel.The hotel provides with the basic toileteries. I was alloted the room toward the road side & i recommend travellers to choose road side view, The advantage is that you can see lush green fileds from the room. The hotel also provides with the complementory breakfast & they offer choice of either japenese or continental breakfast . Great location. It is very convenient being connected to the aeon mall. Rooms are comparatively spacious and bright. The reception staff is also very helpful. They also have free parking lot which is one more plus point. Only complaint is the room key! I struggled a lot to open the room with the key. They should shift to RFID cards instead of actual keys.
