It’s been 5 years we haven’t done long haul travel since pandemic so we want to pampered ourselves. Our friend recommend this place so we give it a try and we stay for two nights. I personally think should stay two night if I want a relaxing experience where I don’t need to rush to go thru all the to-do stuff. :)

Overall, we were very happy with the stay. The place gave me the best memories here in my 17 days Japan trip. We picked comfort deluxe and the room is big and clean and I love the zen decor in the room and the whole facility. The whole place is so quiet and “Zen” and I can relax here. The in room hot spring was soooo nice where I can just use it when I wanted to. As a English speaking Canadian who doesn’t know japanese, I survived thru it with google translate and the staff are all friendly and helpful and they remember your name. The fellow name “Vichesh” worth mentioning who served us on our second night dinner speak English quite well which made the experience even better!

Food wise, it’s very good enough for me using Canada standard but I sense from standard in Japan, it can be better 😋. We had a little incident from dinner but they handled it well.

All in all, I do love it here and I want to give it a 5 star but after all, it cost me 190k+ yen for two nights which is abit expensive, so I give it a 4 to 4.5 stars. I think weekdays would...

We stayed here for 2 nights recently and had a fabulous time. They were so accommodating of our 6 month old son, providing us with a diaper bin, bath toys, a high chair during dinner and breakfast and a bed rail. They were so thoughtful and it made our stay wonderful. The in room hot spring was also so amazing, the water made my skin feel so soft and my husband who doesn't normally enjoy baths said that this was the best bath he's ever had. The food was also delicious and the menu was slightly different each night which was so thoughtful too. So beautifully presented and all within 88km and seasonal!

I also booked in for a massage and it was so relaxing, I highly recommend it and wanted it to never end. I also received a small vial of the essential oil they used for my massage and smelling it reminds me of the wonderful stay I had. The kids room was also great, my son loved the swings that they had. All the staff were so professional and warm. I especially appreciated the staff who helped me send my bag ahead of me to Narita airport which made my life so much easier, travelling with a 6 month old.

As we left we got a photo at the front to remember our stay which was...

This was definitely the highlight of our visit to Kyushu. From the minute we drove into the entrance of the Ryokan, staff were on hand to welcome us, help us with our luggage and whisk our shoes away. 😅 They gave us a tour of the inn that was all lined with tatami, so no shoes are allowed.

The hotel opened only about 6 months ago so everything looked and smelled new! We got the junior suite with the in-room onsen so the girls could dip if they didn’t want to go to the open air one.

There was free flow of their locally harvested matcha and oolong cha and the surrounding was so peaceful and relaxing. There are only 36 rooms so it was very peaceful and exclusive.

We didn’t opt into the meals at the Ryokan as a lot of the Omakase dishes were not attractive to the ladies. So we ate at a neighbourhood Izakaya for dinner.

Definitely worth a...
