Stayed 2nights, it's a beautiful place, quiet, great place to see mt fuji if weather is good.
But when raining, the bbq pit area and room is hard to go if no shelter(umbrella, raincoat)to get there. Booked the pit for 2 nights, but we did not know the firewood will be top up. As no one to enquire at the location, self check in/out.
As we skimmed on the using the chopsticks and firewood during the 1st night. And it was raining full day on the 2nd night, we were not able to use the pit. Would be nice to allow last minute add on pit usage instead of needing us to pay in advance on booking. As we are not aware how the weather be like.
Placing of the bbq pit was hard to see the food at night, as the light is blocked by the chef cooking. Out of the 3 rooms, only 1 premium room to access the pit is good location, even if raining also can use.
Parking slot is only 3(as only 3 rooms)with shelter, if you have a big vehicle. Parking be hard, as 2 big vehicle will not be able to park together.
They will make up the room if you are staying more than a night, would be good to inform us after reservation as well. As we did not expect anyone to enter the room without our acknowledgement. Removed a plastic bag of ours(as empty bottles and papers was in it), and was upset as we do not intend to let them take away.
When they make up the room, they also top up the room amenities and also disposable culteries was top up as well as we booked 2 night put usage. It would be nice to be informed in the reservation on how it will be.
Had issue entering the pin at room, the keypad does not light up, while in the rain was struggling to log in for quite so time. Room is fully equipped, wifi was fantastic to be able to watch netflix/disney on a projector with bose soundbar.
But space between toilet and shower is tight. If you are not careful, when opening toilet door. The person outside gets slam in the face.
It was raining whole day, certain areas of the room start condensation or water droplet. If not aware, you stuffs will get wet from the rain water.
When you need help, you can only email them, and you will not know when...
Read moreWe stayed at the premium view terrace. Location wise, there is no doubt that this is a very very VERY great location with a full view of Mt. Fuji. We ordered a food set of various cuts of meat and veggies and with the Ise ebi (lobster). The portion was plenty. The tare was really good as well. They also offered Häagen-Dazs ice cream for dessert. The materials to make the bonfire, grill and breakfast were all prepared so it was really convenient. The toilet and showers looked really clean and modern they even had a dyson for the hair dryer. The room itself was really cozy and warm. Check in was also easy.
A few things we encountered : -the breakfast selection was okay, but the cup of salad? that came with it wasn't covered and i think i looked not safe to eat. -the projector wasn't working. We even tried to look up the manual online. We couldn't enjoy watching movies. -There was a pillow with black stains. -under the table had a lot of dust accumulating. -The clear part of the dome could use a clean as the view is not really nice from the inside. -the vent on the inside was really nasty. -telescope is just a toy really... -a confusing set of remote controllers and a manual that is hard to understand. -its not really a private room, cause people staying at a lower dome can actually peak into the premium view terrace from the stairs going down. -the ac was kinda noisy.
For a "glam"ping experience, i would come back for the location and food, and if there were any improvements on some things and "privacy".
Ps. I hope they had a febreeze spray and outdoor...
Read moreOnly good thing abt this place is the location.
We had problem with the door pin (as with another review I read). The check in tablet should allow customer to call the service staff in case assistance is required. We were lucky to meet a nice Japanese family that helped to call the number given (we didnt have a local line) and the door was unlocked remotely! The room was cold (especially toilet/shower area) and the dirtiest place (mould and tons of dust) I have stayed in Japan. The dirt on the clear canvas totally spoilt the experience we wanted - see My Fuji and stars from the room. Will let the pictures do the talking. Definitely not...
