Falling in love with this stunning café set against the majestic backdrop of Mount Fuji, perched nearly 1,000 meters above sea level along a mountain river.

The kind-hearted owner treated us to two amazing dishes: a premium croissant and coffee. The German-style pancake was particularly unique, standing out completely from Japan's fluffy pancakes.

This is a restaurant where the owner works with true passion, embracing a slow-living philosophy, welcoming guests who enjoy leisurely reading newspapers, listening to music, and soaking in the scenery while waiting at least 20 minutes for their carefully crafted dishes.

Since it’s at the heart of a prime spot for autumn foliage viewing, it’s common for foreign visitors to queue up during peak times, creating quite the bustling atmosphere.

We would like to give this coffee shop a 5-star rating and look forward to returning someday to admire the magnificent,...

We ask for a seat, the place was full, so we ask to take away coffe, after 15 minutes, we saw a free table and ask if we could drink there, they said yes and let us seat, so we ask pancakes too. In the meantime, we saw the owner being very rude to other customers. After we order and pay the pancakes, they said that would take 30 minutes so we decide to cancel and only receive the coffe and wait outside to let other costumers take our seats, after more 20 minutes the owner, beeing very rude again, said that we could not do something like that, and prefer to cancel all the order instead of make our coffe. So we accepted, and he kept being rude until the last second... at least he did the refund, but I will never recommend this...

Undoubtedly the best coffee in Japan — paired with a stunning, postcard-perfect view of Mt. Fuji! But what truly sets this place apart is the story behind every cup. The owner is a coffee artisan who roasts his own exclusive beans — so rare, you’ll only find them here or in the business and first class cabins of Japan Airlines. This café is more than just a stop — it’s the heart of his passion.

And if you're lucky, you might even meet the man himself or his wonderful wife, both often found behind the counter, pouring their love into every detail. With a professional barista, warm-hearted staff, and a view that stirs the soul — this place is an unforgettable experience for any true...
