Misk Hotel — Hotel in Amman

We traveled here from the US- looked at the reviews and thought it would be a nice place- but nope! Pictures below show the black mold in the shower, water damage? along the wall, several pairs of somebody’s dirty socks under the bed, broken toilet paper holder. When we checked in, we had no towels- had to ask for them. I dried off using a small hand towel after showering. TV didn’t work. Breakfast was free but disgusting. Bread seemed like it was sitting out for a few days and was getting crusty. Orange juice was overly powdered Tang. I thought we had no hot water but you just have to run the shower for 10 minutes first. Wifi in the rooms was free and efficient. The hotel is pretty far from downtown which is the more walkable area and everything you would want to see. You will have to get a taxi from here- the hotel kindly set this up for us. I came for a short visit to Amman, my only issue since my last visit was with the housekeeping, but after six months I came and the hotel had hire a new staff for this department which is much better than the previous one, of course there could be some forgetting but based on my last experience it was extremely better moreover the staff remains friendly, even the old ones who remembered me.||||I also like to add a small tip, if you want to use the Airport Taxi, there is a kiosk with a sign outside once you get out of the airport, do not let anyone from the inside who is suggesting you a taxi to go with because they will only lead you to the kiosk and...

I have stayed here for a weekend and without doubts it is a nice hotel. The staff was very friendly; the receptionist gave me the key for the room and made sure the room was comfortable by called my room. The general manager was extremely friendly by allowing me to use the room after check-out time schedule. The breakfast was light and delicious.||The reception was very helpful in directing me to near by places shops.||I will definitely will back there and recommend this hotel to everyone who is interested to enjoy his/her stay in...
