Samawer Hotel — Hotel in Amman

Staying at this hotel was truly one of the worst experiences imaginable. From the moment I arrived, it was clear the place was far below any reasonable standard. The lobby itself was poorly maintained, and the unfriendly reception staff seemed uninterested in welcoming guests. I hoped that the room would offer some comfort, but it was disappointing. The bed linens were unclean, and the room had a stale, unpleasant smell.

The food served in the hotel was completely inedible. Not only was it unappetizing, but it was also visibly unhygienic. The dishes were often cold and poorly prepared, and I even noticed some ingredients that didn’t seem fresh. Eating out became my only option, despite the high prices I was already paying for supposed meals included in my stay.

Adding to the discomfort, the hotel was surrounded by numerous cafes that kept the area buzzing with noise late into the night. It was impossible to get a good night’s sleep, with loud music and chatter permeating the walls. The hotel staff, rather than helping, seemed indifferent to any requests and were untrained in basic hospitality.

For the high prices they charge, this establishment doesn’t come close to meeting expectations. In my opinion, it doesn’t deserve to be called a hotel at all—it’s more like an overpriced, poorly managed lodging. I would never recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and...

Very good location Some of the staff is very welcoming some of them are not at all. Spacious rooms with very limited amenities. They claim there is a gym but unfortunately it is not available. The service is very cheap and the hotel isn’t that clean as they claim. (You can check the photos and see how clean the mug that was placed in my room, and the elevator button) No reception or any kind of security late night so if you come late you will be sleeping outside because the doors are locked and no one answers the phone (I had to sleep somewhere else because of this matter). J'ai séjourné dans cet hôtel , lors d'un voyage organisé, via l'agence Voyamer et THURAYA qui ont organisé le séjour et réservé 4 nuits au début du séjour et la dernière nuit après le retour de Wadi rum, avant de prendre le vol de retour en France.|J'ai été excrément déçu par l'hôtel, au point de changer d'hôtel à mes propres frais, après avoir payé les agences bien cher.|La chambre avec moquette sentait le moisi , et étant asthmatique j'ai du faire une forte crise.|J'ai demandé à me déplacer dans une chambre sans moquette, mais ils m'ont dis ne pas en avoir une de disponible .|En quittant l'hôtel après avoir réservé un autre sur booking de mon téléphone, et payer d'avance, ils m'informent qu'ils avaient d'autres chambres avec un tapis sous le lit qu'ils pouvaient enlever le tapis et nettoyer la chambre.|Je suis parti quand même , compte tenu que j'ai payé l'autre hôtel, j'ai juste demandé de faire l'effort pour la dernière nuit avant le départ, car on devait quitter à 06h du matin pour rejoindre l'aéroport.|Ils m'ont promis une chambre sans moquette propre, mais à ma surprise , à mon retour, la chambre n'a pas été préparé et ils m'ont affecté à la même chambre.|Heureusement que le guide Mustapha m'a appuyé et à insisté pour , et j'ai du attendre au moins une demi heure pour qu'on m'affecte une autre chambre sans tapis ni moquette.|Je rentre dans celle-ci je trouve une épaisse couche de poussière ,après avoir enlevé le tapis |L'agent de service gentil , a fait l'effort de balayer sous mes yeux une épaisse charge de poussière(pas d'aspirateur ni serpière!!!).|Je me suis trouvé consterné devant ce manque de professionnalisme à la limite inhumain, et extrêmement déçu par le choix des agences de cet hôtel , dont la propreté est bien compromise, déja mal noté , méritant largement les commentaires postés.|Quelle...
