HuQQabaz Jordan — Restaurant in Amman

I didn't dine in, but I visited the place it's very nice and really fancy ........ however in my opinion it's VERY OVERPRICED for a fancy place plus they are very selective in choosing their guests depending on: the looks mainly and secondly if you have a female with you or no..... and finally when I was taking a look in the restaurant and asked some of the staff some questions, some of them were really awkward and not comfortable while even only answering simple questions. (I was wearing a simple beanie hat then because it was really cold, maybe because of it they judged me that I am broke and just trying to be bothering👎🏼👎🏼😂😂)

And there's a very strange policy I don't know the reason behind it:

that they don't show their menu neither on any social media nor on their website nor a private message, they only show it when you are finally in the restaurant so you can only view it in the restaurant...... and I find this very weird because a lot of rooftops and lounges and fancy restaurants if they don't show their menu on social media (maybe because it contains alcohol, or for other marketing purposes) then they show it on their website if they had one, or they send it as a message in a private chat.....but Huqqabaz they don't share it at all I don't know the logical reason.

So yes this is why I rate the place two stars only: for the nice place 👍🏼

Place: nice and wide open Price: VERY expensive Staff treatment: not very comfortable from some of them..... they treat you mainly on how you look. Parking: no free parking....it's Valet Food and beverage tasting: can not judge.

I HIGHLY recommend coming to this place on weekdays; on Thursdays you have to wait for minimum of hour and a half.

So here's what happens: You come, put your name on a list, then wait. Since this is an international, well-known, new place here, with a soft opening, do not expect a waiting time of less than an hour.

If anyone comes in after you and enters, either they reserved the special room or they already have friends up. There is NO WAY one would come in and get away with it; they have security on the ground floor entrance and restaurant entrance.

There can be no reservations made unless it is for the special room with private music.

I ordered the Kepab and the food was delicious! The french fries and pickles on the side was also perfect.

There is an entire shisha menu to order from, and it did not disappoint, because after 3 hours it still had the same taste!!

True, the menu is somewhat overpriced, but it is worth going there once a month or so ❤

Do keep in mind that not every single restaurant is affordable for everyday hangout, and here you can see where the money actually goes.

The staff was more than amazing; they were truly friendly and dedicated.
