This hotel is fantastic! I have stayed here on three different occasions. Each time the owner and his staff are extremely courteous with perfect hospitality. There are not amenities like a pool or a parking garage, but the location is perfect for walking around Aqaba. It is central to shopping and restaurants. The pictures show what you will see from the windows of one of the sea view rooms. I have stayed in the Executive Suite each time because it has two bedrooms, two bathrooms with showers in each bathroom, a living room with an L- shaped couch, a refrigerator, and a water kettle. We have traveled with friends so this is the perfect accommodations for us. The JOar Beach Hotel is perfect for resting on your journey on to Petra, Wadi Rum, a stop before or after crossing the border, and to stay here for the restaurants and shopping in the evening and go to the South Beach for phenomenal snorkeling during the day. On my second stay, I left my favorite swimsuit and shirt hanging in the closet. The owner was so wonderful to save it for me and return it to me on my third visit which was two months later! I highly recommend this hotel! Please note: When you first check-in, enter from the Maain Street entrance. If you enter from King Hussein Street, you need to go up one level to get to the lobby. This can be confusing on your first visit, but it is convenient when you understand the layout of the building.

Very pleased with the services here, it exceeds the cost of rent. Rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The AC is very good. Bathroom was clean and convenient to use. There is elevator access to all 6 floors. For an extra 10 JOD, I was moved up to sea view room which is highly recommended. View of the beach from the 5th floor is beautiful. Everything is really close, stores and restaurants on the same block. You won’t be spending more than 5 JOD for a taxi/Uber to get anywhere on the street. There is a small dirt parking lot on the corner adjacent from the hotel, but it is full most of the time. The other two parking options is either on the curb, or at the free parking lot which is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Only complaint was the phone service and WiFi was very weak on the 5th floor.

One of the best hotels you can ever try in Aqaba, very clean, very well furnished, rooms are very big and the best thing is you can find suites for 4,5 & 6 persons. Rates are very very fair. Staff is really wonderful. Location is great, which is about 2 minutes walking to the sea. Highly highly highly recommended

We stayed here one night and at arrival we found that the entrance was through the back of the building. Afterwards, we found that we can enter through a construction site in front of the building, which was not very plesant. The apartment we booked was at the 6th floor, with sea view. The view was great only from one room, the other one having two small windows. The toilet and shower were very dirty, also the tables and night stands. The entire apartment smelled like tobacco when we arrived. I made only one picture for example. The materials used for this apartment were very good, but very poor maintenance makes the experience here not a...
