We took a room with 2 beds.we had the best view sea view. The place was clean, the shower hot and the service was good. Special thanks to Mohammed and all the team for welcoming us. We booked directly via what's app so the prices were better. I highly recommend the hotel it's located in the middle of the city very close to the local market and to the historical monument in the same time. I noticed something very important in this hotel we had the best sleep ever ,I don't know if this is because of the sea breeze or the energy of the place. I highly recommend 👌

Very central location, parking is quite difficult but the staff will help you find a spot. Breakfast was good, the rooftop breakfast restaurant has a very good view over the city and harbour. However the room was not clean, hairs in the bathroom and sands on the floor when we checked in. The shower also didn’t work properly, either cold or too hot that it almost burn your skin. Every day we have problem with our room key and one time the electricity keyslot didn’t work so we didn’t have any electricity. Wi-Fi was very slow, sometimes there was none.

Good Price for. Room and breakfast. Ppl at the reception were friendly but also some of them esoecially one rather rude and Not Very helpful. But as I said not all of them. some were friendly. Guests there smoked at the breakfast room, even so the staff told them not to. Ppl smoked in their rooms and left the door Open so the whole Hall smelled Like smoke. So that was not ver good. But the Price and the room was good

🌟 Laverda Hotel Aqaba: A Red Sea Paradise of Luxury and Warmth 🌟

From the moment I stepped into Laverda Hotel Aqaba, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of refined elegance and Jordanian hospitality. Perched along the shimmering shores of the Red Sea, this gem seamlessly blends modern luxury with the vibrant culture of Aqaba, offering a stay that is as unforgettable as the city’s famed sunsets. Whether you’re diving into the coral reefs, exploring ancient wonders, or simply unwinding by the sea, Laverda Hotel is the ultimate sanctuary.

First Impressions & Ambiance: The hotel’s entrance is a striking fusion of contemporary design and Middle Eastern charm—think sleek marble floors, arched doorways adorned with intricate geometric patterns, and the gentle scent of oud lingering in the air. The lobby dazzles with floor-to-ceiling windows framing panoramic views of the Red Sea, while local artwork and plush seating areas invite guests to linger. Check-in was a breeze: the staff greeted me with warm “Ahlan wa Sahlan” (welcome) and offered a refreshing tamarind welcome drink and chilled towel, instantly melting away the desert heat. The bellhop, with genuine enthusiasm, shared stories about Aqaba’s history as we headed to my room.

The Room: Coastal Serenity Meets Modern Comfort My Deluxe Sea View Suite was a haven of tranquility. The decor harmonized soothing neutrals with pops of turquoise and coral, echoing the colors of the Red Sea outside. The private balcony offered uninterrupted views of the water, where sailboats dotted the horizon and the distant mountains of Saudi Arabia loomed majestically. The king-sized bed, draped in Egyptian cotton linens, promised deep, restful sleep, while the seating area—complete with a chaise lounge and Arabian-inspired coffee table—was perfect for sipping mint tea. The bathroom was a masterpiece: a rainfall shower, deep soaking tub, and premium amenities infused with Dead Sea minerals. Nightly turndown service included dates and cardamom-infused chocolates, a sweet nod to local flavors.

Dining: A Culinary Odyssey from Jordan to the World Laverda’s dining experiences are nothing short of extraordinary. Breakfast at Al-Bahr Restaurant was a feast—a lavish spread of fluffy mana’eesh (Levantine flatbread), creamy hummus, freshly squeezed pomegranate juice, and made-to-order shakshuka. For dinner, Zaitouna, their rooftop Mediterranean grill, stole my heart. Under a canopy of stars, I savored grilled sayadieh (spiced fish with caramelized onions) and tender lamb chops with za’atar, paired with a Jordanian rosé from the nearby vineyards of Madaba. The Sands Lounge became my evening ritual, where skilled mixologists crafted pomegranate mojitos alongside classic Arabic coffee. Even room service delighted—a mezze platter with smoky baba ghanoush and warm khubz (bread) arrived swiftly, showcasing the kitchen’s dedication to quality.

Amenities: Wellness, Adventure, and Pure Relaxation The infinity pool, overlooking the Red Sea, was my daytime oasis. Attendants circled with chilled lemon-mint drinks and cold towels, while the nearby beach cabanas offered shaded serenity. The Noor Spa was a revelation—a 60-minute Arabian rose oil massage left me floating on air, followed by a dip in the thalassotherapy pool. Adventure seekers will adore the hotel’s PADI-certified dive center, which organized a mesmerizing snorkeling trip to the nearby Japanese Garden reef. For families, the kids’ club with Arabic calligraphy workshops and beach games kept younger guests entertained. Business travelers aren’t forgotten either: the state-of-the-art conference rooms and sunset sheesha networking events on the terrace blend work and pleasure effortlessly.

Service: Hospitality Rooted in Jordanian Generosity What truly sets Laverda apart is its staff. The concierge team felt like personal travel planners—they secured a private guided tour of Petra (just a 2-hour drive away!), arranged a sunset dhow cruise, and even surprised me with a birthday...

We booked the room well in advance but they cancelled our reservation within 30 min of our arrival claiming our credit card registered in booking did not work. They send us a message requesting updated information. As I did not see said email within a 15 min time frame on the day of arrival. They proceeded to cancel the reservation and this within 30 minutes of our communicated time of arrival. It was clear that this was just to cover themselves to cancel the reservation for a higher prices booking. The credit card was correct as per Booking.com confirmation. They did this as our reservation was for much lower price then the current rate.

The manager upon arrival claimed they tried to call me. I have no missed calls. He said he cancelled the reservation with Booking so he didn't care, I couldn't write a review as there is no reservation with them anymore. Clearly this was a well strategized method he must use regularly and because the booking is cancelled with Booking.com other travelers cannot be warned about their behavior.

I am a seasoned traveler and never have I been subjected to such disrespectful treatment from a hospitality service provider.

Additionally, the hotel was informed via email prior to our arrival that we were arriving to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary. I would expect, especially under those circumstances, that they would honor their booking however it was clear they choose to cancel our booking for one that was at a higher price.

Please be aware that if you make a reservation with them. You may be disposed of...
