Majido Hostel — Hotel in Maan

The Majido hostel is actually a two-bedroom apartment in a residential building. It was thus a bit hard to find at first, but the owner's son guided us there quickly. The kitchen and bathroom are shared for the two rooms. We found everything to be decorated with a lot of attention to detail and extremely clean. What made our short stay even more enjoyable was the amazing hospitality. The owner offered to take us to a restaurant (that was a very good one) and his children were really adorable. La struttura, seppur classificata come ostello, non ha niente da invidiare a un classico 3stelle. La camera in cui ho soggiornato (n°2) seppur di piccole dimensioni era fornita di un frigo e di un bollitore con acqua, caffè e the disponibili gratuitamente. L'arredamento è minimal ma caratteristico e rispecchia le foto mostrate su booking. Lenzuola e asciugamani puliti e profumati. E' presente un ventilatore e un condizionatore/pompa di calore. Il bagno privato è grande e corredato da boiler personale abbondantemente sufficiente per due persone, manca una mensolina dove appoggiare il beauty che accanto al lavandino sarebbe comoda. Nonostante la vicinanza alla strada principale di Wadi Musa ( e a 15 minuti a piedi dall'ingresso di Petra) la struttura si trova in una zona abbastanza silenziosa ed è munita di un area di parcheggio gratuito. Ho apprezzato molto la colazione a sacco che viene fornita agli ospiti che prevedono di uscire prima dell'orario in cui viene servita. Nel mio caso, che ho visitato Petra all'alba, ho trovato sul tavolo un sacchetto con frutta, pane, marmellata, miele etc... Davvero una bella cosa! Nella struttura sono disponibili a pagamento bevande analcoliche e snack. Il proprietario si è dimostrato un ragazzo gentile e premuroso, pronto a rispondere ad ogni domanda. Se avete intenzione di fare una sosta a Wadi Musa, con questa struttura pulita e confortevole...

Location and rooms are very good, could be nice to have a curtain or glass in the shower, otherwise water is everywhere. I put 3 stars because it was extremely noisy at night because and we couldn't get a proper sleep. There should be some quiet hours after 22:00 or 23:00, but it was crazy - other guests and their kids were shouting, hitting the doors and walls, singing... Unfortunately staff didn't do...
