Usually I don't write reviews, but I honestly believe this Hotel really waranted a positive review. The owner is very hospitable. On arriving we were served some free grapes and drinks. We wanted to see Petra really early, and thereby missing breakfast. The man actually went out of his way to make us lunch boxes we could take with us. He also proposed us to go to a certain restaurant, where we got a 10% discount on the delicious traditional Jordan food. He is really kind and likes to have a chat with the guests. His English is really good, which also helps. It helped with communicating with him, but also to negotiate prices when our taxi arrived. The room we had was great. Read moreReally liked this hotel: slept very well; Hotel manager very helpful and kind; breakfast - views and food - lovely; good value for money. |My experience was “5” for the above reasons but you need to be aware it’s not a 5* hotel - the tiled floor was cold (luckily I’d brought slippers) and in feb I needed the warm aircon on all night which didn’t sit well environmentally. Also the toilet seat needed fixing . But these were small things.
