Renion Hills Hotel — Hotel in Almaty

I have been to this hotel several times in last two years and unfortunatelly the services of the hotel are getting worse and worse. Even if the hotel presents itself as a 4-star hotel and "business" hotel it is definitely one of the worst business hotels I have ever been to. It is for the first time when I have to bring with me a shower gel and shampoo to such kind of hotel, the shower gel is not available at all and the shampoo is likely to be a coloured water. The towels are clean but very often frayed. Sometimes it is necessary to wait for a hot water in shower for long minutes.||But the worst thing at all is a breakfast. Mainly in cases when there are only few guests in the hotel (which is not so rare case) you receive only plate with assorted cheese and salami which definitely does not look delicious but I recommend to eat it because otherwise the same piece appears on your plate the next day. If you would like to have a bread or butter as well you have to extra ask for it (it is probably common to eat cheese with salami and egg without any bread) and if you will be lucky you get only three...

This review is for the 2 single beds room only. I didn't book or check the other rooms. I still need to check other hotels so I can have recommendation list.

Renion City Hotel: 1- The bathroom door can be shut but it was hard to lock because the door didn't align 2- No handleheld water sprayer (Shattaf) near the toilet

Renion Hills Hotel: 1- Room carpet smelled weird and seemed dirty. 2- Shower water temperature keeps changing from hot to cold. 3- they didn't provide shaving kit 4- No handleheld water sprayer (Shattaf) near the toilet

Uyut Hotel: 1- No handleheld water sprayer (Shattaf) near the toilet 2- they didn't provide shaving kit 3- The shower creates a puddle because the drain isn't enough. 4- There is a pipe inside the bathroom and it makes noises from time to time.

Shera hotel tries to be a 4-star hotel, but definitely it is not. I've been here several times and it gets worse and worse. Trouble 1) always the same breakfast with very limited offer. I'm not picky but staying here more than a few days means that it is better to buy your own breakfast elsewhere. Trouble 2) terrible service. Fixing wifi? 2 days at least. Changing towels every day? Very rarely. Shower gel? Soap? Shampoo should be sufficient. Trouble 3) Many rooms have some problems. Loose faucets, leaking shower, shower bath cannot be closed properly, ... The only reason why I always return to this hotel is that it is really close to our office. Otherwise I'll choose something else. In case you have any other opportunity for accommodation definitely...
