Queen Almaty — Restaurant in Almaty

We visited summer terrace, was really impressed by the design, atmosphere, scene, lights and sound. Staff of the restaurant is polite and professional. Now is about food, we like the purple bread with figs and Riesling wine was good too. About the rest of the food I would say it’s quite mixing feelings, I think it’s overpriced as per the quality and quantity, when u say in the menu Pasta with Truffles and truffles are 3 tiny pieces for the whole plate, the waitress told it should be 1 gr, it looks like one milligram. We ordered sushi with caviar and again caviar looks like one milligram that u can’t feel the taste at all. Seafood sote was ok but cold, and pasta was also cold. At the end we ordered lamb entrecôte for takeaway it was packed but when we came home it was looked really disappointed at the price of KZT 13,900. I think if I buy cheap shashlyk from the market it would be much better meat and 4 times cheaper. Total bill we paid KZT 110,000. Pics...

Avoid this place! Avoid at all costs! I got food poisoning from the sea bass – the fish had a smell and bad aftertaste! I’ve been vomiting yesterday and today! When I complained, they said an examination needs to be conducted! What nonsense is that?! The bill was ridiculously inflated! We just asked for water, and they brought the most expensive one on the menu – 750 ml for 6000 KZT, while the most expensive Tassay Excellence costs 2800 KZT. That was a very low move! For the berries in the fruit basket, which were of terrible quality, they charged about 60,000 KZT, even though the basket without berries costs 35,000 KZT. We had to wait a very long time just for the hookah guy to take our order. No one even came by to...

I would like to express my disappointment with the recent experience at Queen. Our group encountered several issues that left us feeling misled and dissatisfied. Firstly, the deposit we made seemed to have disappeared, forcing us to pay out of pocket. Additionally, the waitstaff brought items to our table that no one had ordered, only to charge exorbitant prices for them.

To make matters worse, we were encouraged to pay in cash due to alleged internet outages, which raised concerns about the legitimacy of the situation.

Based on this experience, I strongly advise tourists and other patrons to be cautious when visiting this establishment and not to rely on the staff for handling...
