We wanted to go to the restaurant for Christmas Eve Dinner so we called them first, and they advised that due to the busy season we should make a reservation. They advised that the redeemable reservation fee was KES 3,000/= which we immediately paid. So tell me why we got there only for them to not redeem the fee, which we realized a few minutes after leaving, upon which I called to notify them of the error, but it took 2 days for them to accept and confirm that they hadn't redeemed the fee. They also maintained that it was non-refundable and as such, we should just wait to redeem it the next time we were there. Bold of them to assume I would be back given how tasteless their mushroom pepper steak was and how bad their Zanzibar sauce was (it tasted like chicken broth with a hint of a coconut that was harvested from the tree before being fully ready to just drop). Oh, and did I mention their menu has no allergen information yet about half of it (at least on the chicken list) contains milk and is therefore a hazard to lactose-intolerant people? Also, what if I am not from around here? So when do I get to redeem this fee?|Nonsense place honestly, other than the picturesque setting. Their parking is also tiny so either Uber there or if you have a big car park outside. Oh, and the person responsible for this entire reservation fee mess is a very unprofessional someone...

My stay at La Fattoria Resort was an absolute delight. The serene ambiance and recent renovations made my experience truly memorable. Let me share the highlights:
Soothing Rooms: My newly renovated room was a haven of tranquility. The decor was tasteful, and everything was meticulously organized.
Culinary Delight: The T-bone steak I had for dinner was nothing short of extraordinary. It transported my taste buds to another dimension! 😋
Lush Garden: The resort boasts a charming garden—a perfect spot for relaxation and unwinding.
However, there’s room for improvement:
Morning Melodies: The breakfast experience left me wanting more. If I could make one request, it would be to refrain from playing music during breakfast hours. The beautiful easy-listening tunes that enchanted us at night were a bit too early for the morning.
In summary, La Fattoria Resort is a hidden gem, but a minor tweak to the breakfast ambiance would make it even more...
Read moreIn this hotel, the food and drinks are really good (quite long). The rooms are very small for 3-4 ppl. (Don't really trust the pictures), but for 2 It's ok.
There was a LOT LOT of work so you can't sleep or rest past 8:00 am and to 19:30 pm (call before you go there). But after it will be finished, it will be certainly beautiful.
The problem is the owner or the one who drive this hotel (Raphael I think). He is in bad faith (or hypocritical), he do not know his hotel, in the rooms, there is a paper stipulating that transportation is 2000ksh but when we arrived at the airport the guy told us that it was negociated 3000ksh (and we had no money bc we were leaving the country) so we called him and he was saying this paper doesn't exist (maybe now it doesn't anymore). Furthermore, he tried to overcharge us with meals and room payement read your facture.
In conclusion, it will be a good place when all work will be finished but be careful of overcharge and pic that...
