If you’ve ever dreamed of a stay that whispers “Nairobi comfort without the chaos,” Raha Suites Westlands delivers—right off Waiyaki Way. From the moment you arrive, gated entry and friendly staff make you feel like VIP royalty, even if your crown is just a laptop bag. Rooms & Comfort: Spacious, spotless, and styled with Swahili-inspired warmth, the rooms come with fast Wi-Fi (so your Zoom calls don’t turn into a buffering saga), hot showers, and beds that almost tempt you to skip all your meetings. Food & Amenities: Breakfast is hearty—continental or Full English, enough to fuel a morning meeting or a shopping spree at nearby Sarit and Westgate malls. The in-house dining area doubles as a people-watching lounge, so you can sip coffee while judging Nairobi traffic in style. Location & Walkability: Stuck in Westlands traffic? No worries—Raha Suites is close enough to the malls, cafés, and nightlife that you can walk (or sprint) if you’re feeling ambitious. Yet far enough that the city hum doesn’t disturb your nap or late-night binge-watch session. Perks & Extras: Free parking, 24-hour front desk, optional airport shuttle, and room service mean you’re never left wondering “what now?” Even the matatus passing by seem friendlier here. The Quirks: Parking spots are coveted—if you arrive late, your car may get jealous of the hotel guests who got there first. No rooftop pool or grand gardens, but hey, who needs a moat when you’ve got hot showers and Wi-Fi that actually works? Verdict: Whether you’re on business, a mini getaway, or just pretending you live in Westlands for a night, Raha Suites is comfort-packed, conveniently located, and subtly hilarious in its charm. The name says it all—raha, pure comfort, sprinkled with Nairobi city quirks.

This very good budget hotel, well and conveniently located along Waiyaki way in Westland, Nairobi. The rooms are very clean, looks exactly as shown in the website/advertised and above all very spacious. Staff are very helpful and available when needed. It is also very close to Sarit centre and other business places/services. Their breakfast is good, though needs to pay separately. *Home away from Home!

Raha Suites is cozy super clean place, I have stayed for a MONTH with no intention to look other options because it is a convenient location, good food, proffessional and friendly staff, management and owners. they even helped me alot navigating through Nairobi. now I came back to Nairobi August 2023, and I'm staying at the same Raha Suites :). rooms look exactly as clean and organized as in the photos.

Cleanliness - We arrived during night and decide to have our dinner there, we asked place to wash our hand and to our surprise he opened the ground toilet with full of cockroach smell with stints and the cockroach medicine. We had twice our dinner and we wasn’t really comfortable as back our mind we were still wondering how’s the kitchen condition.||Horrible room- we didn’t get what we saw during booking. The receptionist dumped us to a horrible room in which we don’t have door for toilet and bed. It’s a open room in which I can hear my husband doing the business. Since we left the town for safari and didn’t stay following night, once back we ask for a room change indeed we willing to pay for a deluxe room- it’s stated available but when I approached the receptionist they mentioned it’s booked. We feel they reserve few good rooms for certain community sadly. Then they offered us another standard room which supposedly exact package we booked sadly the conditions of the room was horrible. No hand wash pipe once run the toilet business. The shower tab has no proper holder and all the holders in the bathroom is partial broken||The male receptionist was irritating, we offered to pay once checked in and he said can be done during checkout. In 3rd day, we left early as 6 am for another tour and he sent his guard to bring us in to pay. Then we agreed to pay once back from tour and we did with another receptionist. He was after my husband during his shift to pay and claiming not in his record. Lucky my husband dictate ensuring that’s their management responsibility to have handover during shift transitions. ||The only plus point about the hotel is, all the ladies are nice kind and helpful. This hotel not recommended for any international traveller and...

From the moment we arrived at Raha Suites, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, making us feel like valued guests throughout our stay.

The rooms were exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed for relaxation. The bedding was comfortable, and the amenities provided added a touch of luxury. Every detail, from the fresh towels to the calming ambiance, made our stay truly enjoyable.

One of the highlights was the food! Each meal was a delightful experience, carefully prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the variety of dishes showcased an impressive level of culinary expertise. The presentation was beautiful, and the taste exceeded our expectations. It was clear that a lot of care and passion went into every meal.

Beyond the accommodations and dining, the location was perfect, peaceful yet conveniently accessible. We felt safe and relaxed the entire time.

We are incredibly grateful to the team at Raha Suites, Catherine, Shehnaz, Yvonne and everyone else we crossed paths with for their kindness and excellent service. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and unforgettable stay. We will definitely...
