Beautiful, gorgeous setting, and ambience was fantastic. The service was good. Unfortunately, the food didn't do the environment justice, there was a lack of taste. However, what left us with a very unpleasant experience was the outdoor seating, that broke, all because the welding had not been done properly (the haxoganal seating structure). Luckily, nobody was hurt, but the fact is that someone could have easily sued for negligence due to shoddy workmanship. On further inspection, it seems that the other outdoor furniture may also have the same problem. Please sort out asap, to avoid families getting hurt.
Update - tried the place again, as wife wanted to give it another go. Food was terrible. The tofu was bland and swimming in a terrible sauce, and the food was completely over salted. When the manager asked how the food was, we rightly told him what we thought, he took away two of our dishes, apologizing profusely, but still charged us for them. Instead he comped one of our desserts, which was nice of him, but really, I wont be visiting this place again. The venue is so nice, but the food could be so...
Read moreI am glad to have discovered this hidden nook because it has definitely become a favorite! It is obviously underrated because I loved everything about this place.
The menu is expansive with both continental and Asian veg and non-veg food options. Beef and pork are however not served. The food portions were great - my bud had the Indian rice, butter chicken and naan. I opted for the chicken tikka burger with fries. The food was flavorful and savory 😋. For drinks, we opted for the passion and ginger mojito and the tequila sunrise cocktails. They were potent and definitely value for money! I love the fact that it has the rustic-cosy kind of decor inside and also offers an outside sitting area that is so beautifully lit at night. The chiming of the bells outside caused by the wind was memorable. Service was efficient and the waiters were really friendly. They also have a play area for kids which is a plus!
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for quality time with yourself, your...
Read moreFollowing a suggestion we decided to visit this place. The cocktails are great and I would recommend the tequila sunrise especially when pixie oranges are in season. For starters we ordered crispy aubergine which was really great and spicy just for our taste. I also ordered the tofu bao buns and was thoroughly dissapointed. It was just a boring tofu stirfry stuffed between bao. They should really take inspiration from wagamamas in the UK for baos. Indian mains were ok with naans alittle less stretchy than I would prefer. The restaurant itself has more of a canteen vibe and very little indoor seating. We also got charged for a takeway container - not happy about that. Overall I found it...
