Sky Hotel & Restaurant Prizren — Hotel in The plateau of Dukagjin

We stayed at the Sky Hotel in Prizren for two nights, from 22 Aug - 24 August. ||||Firstly, upon arrival, we had to wait over an hour to be checked into our room because some guests were still lingering in the room, and plus the room had to be cleaned. The wait was a little displeasing, but we hung out in the restaurant/bar area until the room was ready.||||Cleanliness is 10/10. ||||Despite the issue with check-in, the accommodation was very clean and felt comfortable. No complaints there.||||The management and staff are friendly and accommodating too. There were only two disappointments (1) breakfast, although it stated that breakfast was included, when we booked the Sky Hotel, our request for breakfast in the morning seemed to surprise them; there was nothing prepared in advance.||||The barkeep asked us what we’d like and made us omelettes as requested. He added bread, cheese, cucumber and tomato slices.||||It was poor, to say the least.||||Next disappointment was the lack of a generator. When the power-cuts occurred, and they do occurred a lot, we had to endure long periods without air conditioning, hot water and Wi-Fi.||||The Sky Hotel is in the bustling centre of Prizren, next to the main bus station. It is on top of an apartment building, something we have only seen in Kosovo (hotel and residential housing in one), the reception area is literally in the passageway of the elevators.||||Overall a fair stay. The hotel is actually several floors up on a residential building it is very close to the bus station only a few minutes away. This was the main reason I chose this hotel. The room was spacious and everything seemed pretty clean and new though basic. Although it was cold outside the room itself was quite warm I tried setting the thermostat to a lower temperature but the room would just keep getting warmer in the end I had to open a window to cool down the room. This was probably the only annoyance of the room. Breakfast does not start till 8:00 a.m. I had to catch a buzzard 8:45 so there wasn't a lot of spare time. Unfortunately breakfast started late that day closer to 8:15. It also was not the buffet style they make your breakfast to order normally this is nice but not convenient if you have little time and...

They tend to be strict and strict with guests. They do not accept talk. They are meticulous in everything. The international system for hotels is to check out at 12, but this hotel has a check-out at 11.
