Classic Hotel — Hotel in The plateau of Dukagjin

The hotel is located in the historic part of the city just by the river and across the bridge which is full of locks on either side. It is very close to nice cafés, the fountain, Sinan Paşa Mosque and churches. In the evening, tourists and local people take a stroll on the treet just in front of the hotel.||||My room was located at the back side and it was very spacious. The air condition, TV, mini bar, bathroom, toiletries, wi-fi, everything was very good. The breakfast was the best part besides the location. The breakfast area which had a nice terrace and the variety made us very happy. ||||The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a garage under the hotel and it is accessible by an elevator.||||The only weakness for me was that the computer in the lobby ran mac operating system. Since I don't use it, I couldn't do my work. And on Friday I think there was loud music in a bar just behind the hotel. But it ended at about 12.00 at night. We have never experienced the level of personal care and attention that this hotel provided. After I told them it was my girlfriend’s birthday, they helped make special reservations for us at a winery and separately at a restaurant (with a specially baked cake surprise waiting for her for dessert). But the kicker was the next morning when they delivered a bottle of wine and chocolates! They also bent over backwards to ensure we were having a great trip generally. ||The hotel itself is very nice. It is a classic/old school hotel in the best possible way. Very clean and nicely appointed. Very comfortable room. And amazing location in the heart of the action (but with soundproof windows so you’re not disturbed by the fast flowing river, people on the streets or the 5x per day calls to prayer). The breakfast was a huge buffet - not amazing but lots of choice. ||One recommendation - ask them to explain the air conditioning panel - it works well but you have to fiddle with the settings so it doesn’t shut off...

The hotel is located very close to the town centre, at the start of the pedestrian area, and along the Bistrica river. Parking is underground.||||The reception is on the first floor, with plenty of seating areas.||||Our room was quite standard in size but tastefully decorated. The wardrobe, housing both the safe and mini bar, was quite limited.||||Bathroom was a decent size with adequate accessories. Good shower though with tendency to overflow. Slippers were provided.||||We had breakfast on the third floor terrace with a great view over the city and the castle. The offering was quite standard but sufficient.||||The hotel does not offer dinners, although with great choice of restaurants within short walking distance, that was not a problem.||||Staff were very friendly...
