Gostevoy Dom ''ALTAY'' — Hotel in Karakol City

We had a very wonderful stay at the new, very beautiful and comfortable Altay guest house last week. I highly recommend this wonderful place! Delilah, her amazing kids and husband really know the meaning of hospitality! They couldn't do enough for us, and were so friendly, helpful and kind during our stay there. The guest house is beautifully decorated and everything was clean and comfortable. There are two triple rooms and two double rooms on the third floor and a very nice lounge with comfortable furniture and fireplace that we had all to ourselves. This was a huge bonus. They also have a lower priced room in the basement that is available if needed. I have never seen a guest house decorated so nicely, they really did an excellent job with the design and decor. Breakfast was great, and they have a fridge, microwave, dishes, everything needed to make coffee and tea, and a large table and sofa also in the dining room area - all available for us to use any time. They have a nice sauna as well, and I think that there was a view of the mountains from every window. The prices were very reasonable; we have paid more in Karakol for accomodations that weren't nearly as nice. Everyone in our party would definitely return here, we enjoyed staying here more than anywhere we've stayed in the past. Dehlia even gave us a gift when we left - we thought that was incredibly nice! After a 4 hrs Flight , And Cruising 13 hours ( Bishkek to Karakol ) With Sightseeing on the way and in between - this Guest House was what is needed to refresh and Settle. Delia the Owner of the hotel was very nice and welcoming.
