Jēkaba sēta — Hotel in Kuldīga

The receptionist was friendly and helpful when we arrived, spoke good english. Next day the older lady didn't manage to speak in english but only wanted to speak in russian. The receptionists could wear uniform not that everyone was clothed very casually.||The lobby wasn't very cozy. Breakfast was ok, but nothing special. When some food ran out, the girl didn't notice it but you had to ask for everything. Amazing that even cereals ran out and they didn't have more??||We had 2 rooms in the main (?) building - 1 twin room was very small. The other was bigger and it had a bath - great luxury :)! The rooms were very clean and cozy. Both rooms didn't have a mirror in the room (just a small one in the bathroom). On the 3rd floor the wifi was very weak. While it's warm outside, it's very hot inside the room.... no air condition!||This place's location is good - a nice walk to the very center while you can enjoy the pedestrian street...

Who get an smile from the waitress should get a free desert!!! Mussels with no very good quality and the garlic sauce is not for them, maybe next time xef could try with meet, potatos or vegs. But that sauce, not anymore with mussels, please!!! And if you order the fried camemberd, you should know that is not fried. Sorry. And all the fresh,, cooked and melted ingredients are tremendously mixted together. Oh no. For the apple pie, you have to wait 14 minutes. It’s good, the best. This little hotel was ideal for exploring Kuldiga's Old Town. Jekaba Seta Hotel and Restaurant is a quaint hotel in Kuldiga, Latvia, with a traditional Latvian restaurant. It offers a wonderful buffet breakfast for its guests. Everything you could want is laid out beautifully with tea, coffee, juice, milk, and a mimosa if you would like.
