Kuldigas Metropole — Hotel in Kuldīga

Worst hotel experience ever. Paid for two nights, left after one. Extra bed broke down once I sat on it, walls were dirty, I could hear nightly escapades of the guests in the neighboring room as if they were next to me, air conditioning made sounds I've never heard before even when I switched it off, got almost no sleep because all of it. The hotel is in a very good location – everything you need is close by. The staff is very friendly and helpful. However, the rooms could use a bit of updating. It was quite hot even though the air conditioner was running – it didn’t really cool the room, made quite a lot of noise, and couldn’t be turned off. The shower head couldn’t be adjusted and was at an awkward angle, so you had to hold it by hand. Overall, though, we still got good rest, and for the price it’s a perfectly...

The towel were gray and they had a stink smell. The room is extremely basic.

the breakfast was super disappointing. 9 euro per person but really narrow and limiting choices and most importantly not tasty
