Riverside — Restaurant in Kuldīga

Came two days in a row for the fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Perfect portion sizes and real value for money. I had the mussels which were beautiful, I noticed a few hadn’t opened and quietly mentioned this to our waiter who was ever so kind and apologetic - we even received a cheesecake free of charge as a “sorry”. But we didn’t feel we deserved this as the food was incredible despite this small issue! I still had plenty of mussels to enjoy. Our two year old was given a colouring set to keep her entertained and she thoroughly enjoyed the children’s menu choices. Also I must add that everyone’s English was amazing! 10/10 - would come back next time we are visiting...

Did not expect to receive a quite decent food. We had beef, prawn burgers, chicken pasta and courgette soups. Burgers were freshly made, well balanced flavours. Beef patty isn't the best quality meat, more like fast food type, but other meals were fresh and tasty. Courgette & goats cheese soups (we had 3) surprised everyone- it was like in a high class restaurant. Also, fries the best we ever had- made with real potatoes, well seasoned and not over fried. We even ordered extra to share. Service was great too, waiter spoke english. We would recommend and come back again if we could. Keep up the quality!

Stopped here for lunch whilst visiting Kuldiga. Initially only intended to have a coffee. We ended up ordering lunch, coffee's and drinks. I chose the chicken ceasar salad with bacon witch was very tasty, with all fresh ingredients. My partner ordered a vegetable salad with grilled hallumi, again lovely and fresh and both great tasting.
