😊: The room is very well located in Riga’s modern center. A tram stop right next to the building takes you to the heart of the historical center in about 10 minutes and to the Art Nouveau district in 5 minutes. Although the room faces a busy street, it is well insulated against noise. The area has plenty of supermarkets, and the room itself was clean and spacious enough for a couple of nights.. 😢: Client service is poor. When you book this place, you receive a message containing more rules than the Bible. Everything comes with an extra charge, and the administrator is rude — especially because much of the information she gives is not stated in advance on Booking. Be aware of the following:

1. If you don’t arrive at the time you’ve given them, you pay €30.

2. Use of the shared kitchen: €15.

3. Cleaning and bed linen change: €25.

4. Towel change: €5.

5. Bed linen change: €10.

6. Bicycle storage in the basement: €10 per night.

7. Additional guest: €10 per night (using existing bed or sofa); folding bed: €20 per night (may not be available in all rooms).

8. Additional bed linen set (if not sleeping in the same bed): €10.

They also request a €50 deposit, though in our case it was not taken. And don’t forget the local tax — at least that one is mentioned on Booking...

Instead of accepting critics you attck bases on nothing: most of my reviews are 5 stars. You just are not, because you are miserable. Travel more and gain more experience. Bye bye,...

Deceiving place, please beware of the unhidden costs. When you book, you think you’ll get a room with a shared kitchen to use, as mentioned in booking.com, however after you make the reservation a very long (testament-like message) is sent with tons of rules and costs, including the use of the kitchen. This is not honest at all. The room was ok, however the shower was broken, which made taking a shower a bit uncomfortable. Please note the following rules:
