Located in the heart of Riga, this restaurant offers a unique dining experience that's both cozy and charming. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with a decor that blends classic and modern styles to create a comfortable ambiance.
One of the standout features of this restaurant is the food. The dishes are expertly prepared and beautifully presented, with a focus on fresh and seasonal ingredients. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty meat dish or a light vegetarian option, you'll find plenty of delicious choices on the menu.
In particular, the seafood dishes are a must-try. From the tender octopus to the succulent prawns, the seafood here is always fresh and perfectly cooked. Additionally, the restaurant offers an impressive selection of wines that perfectly complement the flavors of the food.

Read moreSince Ezītis is first and foremost a local watering hole, I believe that holding the cooking there up to the same standard as I would a restaurant's would be deeply unfair. You don't go there to eat, you go there for a pint or two in good company, and something, perhaps, to accompany the beer. In that respect, cooking there is decent enough, though by no means spectacular.
My most recent order was a Caesar with chicken and bacon, and it was, I think, quite illustrative. The sauce was mediocre,, but by no means offensive. As far as the choice of the drinks is concerned, Ezītis leans heavily towards the Lielvārdes brand's beer. I'm not a fan, but I'm quite fond of Madonas draft beer, which also happens to be on tap.

Food and atmosphere as in "Ezītis miglā" - usually food is ok (nothing outstanding, except for burgers maybe) and feels kind'a cozy and kind'a cheap. If you're looking for quality alcohol, I'd suggest finding someone who serves homemade spirits, as I think, quality of hard liqueur that reaches bars in Latvia, usually is very questionable, depending on surprises that comes the next morning. Beer is good, though.
Not sure if it's wheelchair accessible. Probably not, as I had to climb stairs. There is a place to lock your...
