There are a couple craft breweries not terribly far away but if they can't satisfy your beer itch, this spot certainly can.

And he gets bonus points for not throwing the ugly...

Best craft beer selection in Latvia. All local breweries, at least 5 draught beers, and also good selection of craft beers from EE, PL, UK, and few more countries. Local craft wines and still liquors available as well. New brews are always highlighted, and staff is welcoming and helpful. Top place in Rīga, for craft beer...

You can find almost all latvian brands of craft beer in this shop, and the prices are generally okay. They also have few options for draft beers. Not a perfect place for socializing with friends, as it's more like a shop than a bar, but they do have tables and chairs to have a sit and taste your beer comfortably
