Just spent a month at this incredible place, and couldn't recommend it enough! It's perfect for a quick weekend getaway, a week long holiday, or even a sabbatical to get those creative juices flowing.
LOCATION It's located on the more quiet end of Nida, which I really appreciated. 10min walk away from the grocery store, 25min walk away from the sea. You'll find yourself at the top of a hill surrounded by trees - a lovely hideaway.
ROOMS & AMENITIES This place is a minimalist's heaven. Rooms are equipped with beds, sinks, closets and a kettle. Bigger ones have small fridges. Bedding is warm, so great for late summer/early autumn stays.
It has a communal kitchen, which is spacious and has loads of equipment. Including waffle and jaffle makers, and blender sticks.
Bathrooms and showers are accessible from the outside, but nothing like a starry night to put you comfy back to sleep.
Lots of tables outside to have your meals, or simply chill.
Everything is kept clean and tidy at all times. I never had any issues or felt like something was lacking.
STAFF Hospitality was great! Lovely staff, always available on premises and ready to help.
The only con is that you never know who are your neighbours gonna be. But throughout my stay it was only on one occasion that I had to tell someone off for being loud into the late hours.
Overall, I'll be coming...
Read moreNice place for short summer vacation) It's located in a picturesque and quiet part of Nida, not far from the central part of the town. There's no problem finding this place. The most important thing is that you stay on the green hill with a marvellous view - seaside, forest, old church and... old cemetery. Thomas Mann Culture Centre and Amber Gallery Museum are in a 5-minutes walk from the hotel. You can reach the Centre with a pleasant 10-minutes walk and a 20-25 minutes quick walk for arriving to the Dunes and open sea. The hotel is designed for the summer holidays Rooms are equipped with a bed, a kettle, a small sink, a little fridge and a portable heater. It is wet and cool here in April-May so it would be better to visit Kastytis in the summertime. Showers, bathrooms and a communal kitchen are outside. The kitchen is quite good, clean and equipped. You can find all you need to prepare the food. Price - it seems overpriced for such a room but Nida is one of the rather expensive resorts and it's a quite nice price here. You can compare this place with another one. Moreover, the owner proposes a discount on Airbnb. Thanks staff for their hospitality and openness) Fresh air and tranquillity. My...
Read moreOne of the most unique places in Nida, which is rare now. Fantastic location on a hill above the lagoon with the coziest courtyard where you just want to spend the whole day swinging in hammocks under the pine trees and reading a book. The rooms are super cozy, you just feel like at home, only with a view of the lagoon through the window. The authenticity of the 70s architecture creates a very special atmosphere, music is always nice, the staff is kind and will always help with everything, and in the shared kitchen you can find all possible tools and equipment to cook everyday food. And even if you run out of any product - you can take whatever you need from the shared cupboard. Very nice community feeling! I 100% recommend not to miss the opportunity to experience something special while staying in...
