The room is nice, small but everything needed was provided

1st time staying here , just wanna try out new hotel,

Toilet is nice,

Aircond is good however, its kinda interrupting as the sound produced from it, make us hard to sleep.

Tv channel needs to improve

Security highly need improvement!! Not just because a person asked a second key to a room (which was wrong room, the person stayed in diff room) without consult to the room’s tenants itself, the receptionist just gave & caused us trauma (insomia) , the door lock need to improvise!!!! We already locked from inside before we call it a day, & one of the staff (a guy) assumed us didn’t locked the door properly & teach us how to lock ?? He fooled us w/o realised he was fooling himself with that understatement.

The guy simply used his 2nd card to push the lock by closing the door to its maximum & slip the slim key card in to push the lock inside then automatically opened the door, even on the lights ?? I immediately woke up (sleepy mode) & to watch how insecure this hotel security..

Improve the lock!!!!

The management has consulted us on June 30th regarding this matter & sincerely apologies for this incident, they have refunded the amounts of our stays to showed their concerns & the seriousness of their management in handling this situation.

Personal review: we will give a try again in future no one knows, to see how they improve their security.

The fact that the hotel is good value for money, in a good location for business, and clean - makes it OK. ||||But there are a few things not quite right about the hotel.||(1) The smoke. Unless you smoke, insist on a Non-Smoking room. The smoking rooms, I found, would "leak" in smoke through the bathroom from other rooms.The smoking rooms all have a balcony - but this faces a busy main road (i.e. noisier).||(2) The noise factor. There is a main road, and several night spots. Avoid rooms facing the main road, and to the left of the lifts.||(3) The free wifi. Yes it's free, but it is very unreliable and slow.||(4) No taxis. This is unfortunately a problem generally in Sabah, and unlike a big hotel, you won't have taxis waiting outside. Make sure you take a taxi driver's number if you will need one during your stay. ||||Breakfast is not available - but this is not a problem as there are many nice local shops to have a lovely and cheap breakfast literally on the doorstep...

For the price, this place is excellent. First thing is it's really clean, and the bed sheets are comfy.

There's always almost instant hot water for your showers, very efficient.

For movie buffs, there's not much channels but local ones.

Staying here during the MCO/PKP (2020) they had reasonably priced hotel food (the kitchen is just behind the hotel) which was very convenient.

There's plenty of other eateries, banks, convenient stores, laundry, health and beauty stores within walking distance.

A nifty thing that the rooms have is that they have night light, for those who don't like to sleep in the dark.
