One of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to—right here in Kundasang! The food was absolutely top-tier—huge portions, flavour-packed, and the presentation looked like hotel standard. Even though it was full house, we ordered at 7:48 PM and got our food by 8:13 PM—only 25 minutes, which is impressive. The kitchen really did a great job! The ambience is stunning, with lots of spots for OOTDs or just to enjoy the cool Kundasang breeze. Cozy vibes with a nice mix of traditional and modern decor. The area is super clean, and yes—it’s halal, so makan pun tenang hati. Toilet is nearby and clean too, which is such a bonus especially when you’re out with family or kids. Parking’s easy, staff are super friendly, and there’s even WiFi—perfect for chilling or updating your IG story live. Only thing that could be improved? The payment method. They currently only accept cash or debit card, no QR pay or Touch ’n Go. Would be awesome if they added eWallet options—way more convenient! Other than that, everything was chef’s kiss. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Kundasang!

I find that Sabah food generally has a stronger and saltier flavour compared to west Malaysia. At first bite, it tasted very salty and flavourful, but after a few more spoons, I got used to it. The kampung-style fried noodles were tasty, and the nasi lemak fried rice had a buttery taste — I believe they used butter in the cooking, which added a nice touch. The fried chicken wing from the nasi lemak was delicious, and the sambal was quite unique — it had a slightly floral note, which is different from the typical sambal in West Malaysia.
