Otel Hotel Suite — Hotel in Borneo

Don’t confuse this hotel with another almost similar name called Otel Hotel Sibu in the same building. I paid RM200+ for a deluxe executive twin beds room and a bit shocked to see the room size was smaller than I expected, with no view. All I could see when I opened the window curtains was closed balcony with a lot of empty boxes and withered potted plants. The room was provided with only very basic amenities like low budget hotels usually offered; electric jug, hair dryer, towels and complementary snacks. No mini fridge and closet. The only mirror you have is in the bathroom. The room is equipped big smart tv ( probably 50”) and wifi- abled. Please take note, there’s no bidet but they do provide jet spray in the toilet bowl.

There is a food court, a supermarket, a pharmacy next door , Guardian, Tealive, Subway and other shops and bistros within the same building, so there’s no problem to look for food and drinks. The place seems busy most of the time and it is not easy to find for car parking spot during the day.

It was the first time I checked in there. With the price I paid, I feel like it’s too expensive considering the size of the room, amenities provided and the parking inconvenience. I could get better room with complimentary breakfast and better amenities in other hotels around with more or less...

this hotel is overprice to me, regretted right away when I enter my room, for this kind of price I think the room is too small, when i 1st enter my room the aircon is already on which is good but I can smell like a bit of sweat smell mayb from previous customer or else mayb their housekeeping staff smells, room design and interior also nothing so impressive also for this price sad. bed and pillow is ok, aircon is super cold, the shower on off is a bit confusing, during my stay the water was strong on the 1st day but I dono why the next morning the water was slow and during 10.30am I shower again there is only little super slow water coming out, the only thing I like about the room was the tv is big then almost all of the other hotel. with this type of pricing and quality it's my 1st and last to stay here. lately there's more other newly renovated hotel also almost this kind of quality with much...

Very good room , spacious , good amenities, good design . Big smart tv.

The bad thing is the sound proofing. I’m staying at first floor facing main road. All day I can hear is the sound of bikes and cars. I can even hear foots steps when people walk by at ground floor five-foot-way. I can hear what are they talking ..

The second time . I book another room, 5th floor, Which is not facing main road. Although I’m away from vehicles sound. I can hear tv sound & chit chat from the other room. It sounds like they talk just outside the room corridor, but actually is just the sound from other guest at the same floor.

Please do improve your soundproof for windows & doors.. put a message at walls or tv to remind all your guest to keep quite at late night as your sound...
